Embedded Videos From Sources Other Than Youtube

I realize asking for new features on ats is pretty much the same as screaming into a black hole, but with youtube ramping up censorship and tons of channels moving to other platforms, it would be nice to be able to embed videos from sources other than youtube.

Increasingly, videos relevant to ats are showing up more and more on platforms other than youtube a generic way to embed videos from other sources makes sense for ats.

Also, it sucks having to support google just to share a video on ats.

With more decentralized and other video streaming options showing up, it's a feature I think ats could really use.

Currently, you can't embed videos from other sources into a thread like youtube videos. It would be great to be able to though.

AFAIK, there aren't any changes likely any time soon.

YT is the only vid able to embed.

What is wrong with using a link???
AFAIK, bitchute and rumble links work.

Nothing, it'd just be nice to have other platforms feel like 'first class citizens'. YouTube always gets the spotlight.
