This probably is just the tip of the iceberg .

U.K. regulators said Wednesday that people who have a "significant history'' of allergic reactions shouldn't receive the new Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine while they investigate two adverse reactions that occurred on the first day of the country's mass vaccination program.

It's muddled there, because I read that on local news right before you posted and can't figure out if they mean vax ingredient allergic reactions or allergic reactions overall. But if they mean allergic reactions in general, then my husband now has an iron-clad excuse to refuse it -- he has an anaphylactic allergy.

There's actually quite a few folks in the neighborhood with various allergies (mostly pollens and animals, but some foods, too) I foresee a whoooole hell of a lot of them using that to sidestep the incessant pressuring

Suddenly, this safe and tested, but rushed through vaccine shows signs of being dangerous.

What happens another month down the road when other nasty side effects start to appear?

We will just have to take CNN's advice and blame pre-existing conditions like age and disease instead of blaming the vaccine.... even though CNN told us that we couldn't blame those things for deaths supposedly caused by the virus.

This crap is getting old.

Nonsene.

Some people have always had an alergic reaction to vacines. Any vacine.

Am just reading about this on daily mail website:

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Warning over UK vaccine rollout as two NHS staff given jab suffer 'anaphylactic reaction': Regulators urge people with history of 'significant' allergies NOT to have Pfizer injection - just 24 hours after Britain's mass inoculation kicked off

The two NHS staff suffered an anaphylactoid reaction to the vaccine, which is milder than anaphylaxis, and tends to involve a rash, shortness of breath, swelling of the face and tongue or a drop in blood pressure, the NHS says. In the US vaccine trial carried out by Pfizer, 137 out of around 19,000 people given the vaccine had one or more of these reactions. Reactions to the jab can include a temperature, nausea, swelling of the arm or in severe cases feeling generally unwell with swollen lymph node glands. Professor Stephen Powis, national medical director for the NHS in England, said: 'The MHRA have advised on a precautionary basis that people with a significant history of allergic reactions do not receive this vaccination after two people with a history of significant allergic reactions responded adversely yesterday. Both are recovering well.' The allergy scare came hours after Britain's drug regulator dismissed safety fears over the Pfizer and BioNTech coronavirus vaccine after a report revealed four people in a trial in the US got Bell's palsy. The condition, which is usually temporary, causes muscles on one side of the face to droop because of nerves not working properly. Four cases of it were found in a group of 21,720 people who had the Pfizer vaccine in a trial in the US, compared to none among 21,728 people given a placebo vaccine. But this rate of occurrence is no different to how often it would be expected to happen in a random population, the company said.

Doesn't sound too great to me. 4 cases out of 21,700 people came down with Bells Palsy and 2 nurses already suffering from 'anaphylactic reaction'. I persoanlly think this vaccine has been rushed and isn't suitable just yet to roll out and more testing is needed.

If it is a known fact, then why didn't they post the warning before they launched the mass inoculation drive?
Instead, they waited until after they got adverse reactions. We don't even know if those people that had the adverse reactions had a history of allergic reactions.

Both of those who suffered allergic reactions were known to have serious allergies and carried adrenaline pens for that reason.

I suspect they probably chose to take the vaccine in spite of knowing they could suffer a reaction, though it's also possible someone cocked-up and forgot to ask if they had allergies to any of the ingredients (as is normal procedure with any such injections).

I mentioned in a different (now closed duplicate topic) thread that I Am Legend is going to become really easy to relate to, in a more realistic way. I'm all for progressing into new territory, with ample time for study & fallout to make itself known, but this wasn't 10 or 20 years of lab study and following/studying volunteers closely. This is just heaping a totally new discipline on the masses and using them as lab rats openly.

Hippocrates would be horrified, and appalled...So much for that oath, huh?

It is a know fact.

Allergic reactions It's rare for anyone to have a serious allergic reaction to a vaccination. If this does happen, it usually happens within minutes.

www.nhs.uk...

Some people have alergic reactions without knowing they have an alergy. Once they do know then it's up to them to make medical professionals know about it, so it can be registered on their medical records. Thus avoiding any possible problems in the future.

You say it is rare.
Why so many on the first day of inoculations if it is rare.... to the point that they issue a warning?

Post proof.
And don't use the MSM for proof.... they print this sort of crap. Lies.
ATS post

Post medical reports from hospitals on the incidents.

Absolute rubbish, the vaccine would of been made with the most common allergies taken into consideration. The two who had the reaction have both had history with allergies and have used medicine for those allergies previously, where they not questioned before the vaccine?, was it really just pumped into them without the second thought of any questions regarding allergies?

Absolute rubbish, the lies they spin are so obvious.

In due time thousands of people looking for an excuse/exemption will start joining
religious organizations such as the Jehovah's Witnesses and ultra Holiness groups.

Principle needs no excuse.

Maybe they should make the vaccine available without the preservatives that is claimed to cause these reactions. They should be able to go to the manufacturer and receive a shot without for example the mercury or formaldehyde if it has those, or maybe without eggs if they are allergic to eggs. Give people the option to take one immediately without the extra ingredients. I know they are thinking about shelf life but maybe this should be an option.

They published the risk of allergic reactions on 2nd December in the MRHA advice to doctors and patients over the vaccine.

link to vaccine info

General recommendations
As with all injectable vaccines, appropriate medical treatment and supervision should always be

readily available in case of a rare anaphylactic event following the administration of the vaccine.

It's a known tiny risk, same as any medication, doctors were informed of the rare risk of anaphylactic shock and told to keep an eye on it and have epi pens etc if it happened.

We have a 'yellow card' system where all info on adverse reactions is published and investigated - it's a very tight regulation schedule with the vaccine only having temporary approval and if Pfizer fail to comply with any of them they immediately get barred from using the vaccine in the UK.

Link to vaccine yellow card system - not well known in the UK but vital info
