The Trump Administration Just Made the Citizenship Test Harder. How Would You Do?

The Trump administration adopted changes to the citizenship test.

There are 128 possible questions (Civics test) from which 20 question are picked randomly.

You'll have to be able to answer 12 out of 20 correctly to pass.(previously required answering six out of 10 questions correctly).

Being the European that I am...got 3 out of 9 correct...Guess I'll stay in Europe a little longer. lol

I am not surprised, I've seen your posts in the political threads and you seem like you know what you are talking about.

I'd be surprised if any American on ATS would score poorly on this test.

You ought to see the real test.
About 10 years ago , I helped a friend study and take the practice tests .
If anything , this was a piece of cake compared to the REAL one back then .

2 from 9, on the upside, not really interested in living in the US never mind being a citizen

I got 9 out of 9.

I've taken the actual citizenship test. It's amazing how cursory it is.

My wife passed hers more than three decades ago. You should've seen the percentages of people exiting the test area with tears streaming down their faces.

I've advocated that the this test should be required to vote for all citizens. If you cannot pass this test you shouldn't be voting. It would prevent a lot of the nonsense we deal with now on. Oth sides if the aisle.

Get rid of the additives and chemicals in the food and water, shield everyone home against potentially harmful EMF and then people would do a whole lot better.

Meanwhile over here in Blighty we have young adults whom don't even know whom Winston Churchill was or think he was a fictional character and that THE fictional Character Sherlock Holmes was a real person.

So yeah, I suppose there is something to be said about wanting only the smartest but why then dumb down your own people with crap in there food and drink and expose them to mind altering bloody EMF frequency's.

That said I have to respect your president and his team's approach to trying to protect the US Your Nation from losing it's identity which is really what this is about I guess.
