Part of the puzzle you're looking at is that the Chinese have nuclear weapons. That changes many of the traditional calculations of the generals and diplomats.

FWIW....remember how I’m always downplaying covid? My dad was diagnosed and hospitalized Saturday. He is 76, has multiple myeloma and is on immunosuppressants so he is high risk. He left hospital yesterday and feels like he has beaten the virus.
I don’t share for sympathy. I truly believe the worst is behind him. I share because it reinforces my experiences working with covid.

You guys remember when they first announced the federal lockdowns and they sent military and ships off the coast of Venezuela?

I dont remember the official reason for it but was wondering if it maybe had something to do with Dominion.

Just a random thought..

Based on the latest, it Appears more likely that Joe Biden really did approach McConnell (about 2 weeks ago), and ask him to use his influence to obtain a Biden family pardon.

That’s not looking out of the way of possible.

I ask the same question every day. Does Joe feel MORE or LESS confident about getting sworn in with each passing day?

Have you ever been to Maine? You could (strategically) blow up half the state and nobody would notice. Population is so sparse there (in some areas) that containing news of this type would not be terribly difficult. For a while. And this does happen to be one of those areas.

Raid? Happens daily across the globe in different forms & fashions for a variety of reasons. Takes a small number of operators with tactical level support and command/control. They could stay at an Embassy Suites before the OP.

50k soldiers needing food/water/shelter/gasoline/transport/air support/medical support/comms/spare parts/administrative support.

You wouldn’t need the media. Every human within 50 miles of the center mass would be uploading video.

I wonder how many Chinese Troops were/are in Canada for joint training, and how many of them could be in the area. I'm not going to say this event happened, but I do want to know what the bases for this type of possible propaganda is. One can not just say that the US is being invaded without some kind of story to back up that claim.

The Chinese military is very close. They've been training in Canada with Trudeau's blessing.

Fortunately, our Northern border has a well-armed unofficial militia. It's been said many times over the years that one of the reasons we have not been invaded is our well-armed citizenry.

I feel bad for the Canadians. They've got some real "winners" in positions of power up there too. 😁

Before the Clinton Administration, the Chinese didn't have targetable ICBM's.
Bill and Hillary changed all that by making sure that the Chinese got the technology that they needed.... probably in exchange for campaign dollars.
