This teenager in Melbourne, Australia, was chocked unconscious and thrown to the floor.

Edit: not because of face mask as video title says, but still way too much violence imo.

When will people learn all this is for your own good and safety? See, that video is the perfect example, if that kid had just worn his mask, he wouldn't have ended up choked out on the floor of a restaurant.

Masks save lives people.

We're all in this together.

Wear your #ing mask or you will get choked the # out.

Covid doesn't # around.

ETA: Even if the incident not about masks, shoulda been wearing one anyway. Would have helped about as well as they do with Covid.

Australia + No Mask = Socialism In America

Well, I’m certainly more concerned now than I ever was. Thank you for connecting those dots.

I'd like to see more than a 15 second clip. Did the teen become violent ?

No matter what, he didn't deserve to be treated that way. The guy chokes him out and then just drops him. Look at the kids head hitting the floor. Then , he picks him up and uses his head to open the door.

With any luck, this kid just became a millionaire.

If he remembers anything, that is.

You can hear him hitting his head on the floor. The guests all heard it.

Then carried out like an undesirable.

3 men to subdue him, only 1 to carry him out.

But not an officer in sight, so silence. Go back to eating sheep.

It is a lie that the teenager was treated like this because of a mask. Was not difficult to find out.

The incident, in the video above, unfolded in a pub at Croydon, in Melbourne’s east, earlier this month.
Hotel management said the teenager was kicked out of the venue for being too rowdy but climbed a fence to get back in to his mates.
When security noticed they shepherded him out - but the teen broke free, ran straight back to the bar and poured himself a schooner.
That’s when the situation escalated.
The 18-year-old told 7NEWS he doesn’t remember what happened next.

That's called assault with malice.

3 grown men subduing him, yet badass has to choke him out.
Look in the background. No other customer wearing a mask, yet this kid gets his skull bounced off the floor and thrown out on the sidewalk.
They should have called police, not taken matters to such an extreme.

So, that's an excuse ? I work in a bar. If we treated someone like that, we'd be looking at civil suits for the next 10 years. "Rowdy" is no excuse to choke someone out and bounce their head off the floor.

....and yes, I've had to put people out the door. It was never like that.

But he was rioting in the bar. It's his own fault. Nevertheless, the man has acted too brutally.

Thank you.

This is why I don't trust anything on the internet at face value.

of course this is disproportionate. and i would sue the guard. but the thread alludes to the topic 'wearing a mask'. otherwise this thread would not exist.

According to Meat and Livestock Australia there´s 63.7 million sheep in Australia...By my count there´s about 25 million more.

Maybe it didn't come across that way.

They're insured right?
