I think it will go the distance with 2 min rounds...

IF Mike doesn't TKO him... no chance Jones can knock out tyson, but he could out box him easily...

It all comes down to IF Roy Jones can handle Tysons power

Its just an exhibition fight for some cash... it won't be like a real boxing match, so i won't be watching.

Sort of feels like being a teen in the late 80s again..waitig to see a Tyson fight at the weekend.

He's also been talking about fighting Fury and Wilder if the bout with Roy Jones goes OK.
I can actually see both of them losing against Tyson.

The guy is a different breed.
If I was boss of the world,I would clone Mike Tyson and keep thousands of him on ice just in case we get invaded by evil aliens.

Mike Tyson seems crazy af lately lol

I guess once your so old you shouldn't be getting hit in the head at all eh

I think it’s cause he came off the weed. He seemed so much more at peace when was smoking everyday; now he gets erections thinking about punching people in the face.

I’m not a scientist but there may be some correlation there.

He still smokes weed every day. He smokes weed during interviews about this fight.

I would love for this to be real. But the fact that it is an exhibition and they don't want knockouts ruins it. I will definitely be watching but hell, if that's the case any of us could get in the ring with these guys if they aren't going to be allowed to hurt us. It's stupid, these are grown men, it's their lives, if they want to fight at 50 let them fight. Hopkins fought to 48 or so and that was fine. Jones just retired 2 years ago. It should be up to anyone to do what they want with their lives. Apparently my body my choice only applies to 1 thing in this country.

I feel torn, I really like the Mike Tyson of today ... enlightened. But I saw his amazing destruction of heavyweights back in the day. I think he is 54 and he just can't be the same guy ... I keep thinking that if I watch him today it will somehow tarnish the warrior I saw back in the 80s.

All that said it's exciting ... he brings that like nobody else. It will be exciting but I'm not expecting to see the same guy in the ring.

I've watched all the videos of him training and its scary boy.

# you are getting me pumped...

He ain't just a fighter he's a wrecking machine

My prediction is similar to Ray-Leonard v Hagler, if Tyson can't get him out within 4, he's gonna get outboxed/out pointed.

So excited I could p1ss my pants

I can see this going 2 ways:
1. Boring fight behind a handshake - I'll lightly tag you a few times......etc.
or
2. Instinct kicks in and one forgets to pull their punch, then real punches start getting thrown.

I could swear he mentioned on Joe Rogan that he stopped smoking weed to train for the fight. Could have misunderstood it though.

That was some bullcrap. Tyson actually looked halfway decent and clearly won the fight. They either agreed to a draw beforehand, or there is hope of a "rematch" to shake a bit more coin out of the viewer's pockets.

Yeah, roy just clinched the whole time after the first couple shots... was holding his mid section at the end during the final interview... bet he broke a rib or two... tyson looked pissed!

And remember thats how hollyfield pissed off mike... clinch after clinch

a bit sad he wanted to keep doing charity events... i still think he would stand a good chance in the ring with any of the top heavyweights...

Roy wasn't even a challenge... Mike barely broke a sweat... but roy looked like he wanted to cry at the end

I think it's safe to say Roy is fortunate their paths didnt cross 20 years ago when he was dabbling in heavyweight fights and Tyson still had the Terminator short hook that could break bones with one lucky landing. Jones should never have gone above light heavy, IMO. He got cocky and at the end of the day he never was qualified to fight heavy. This fight just highlighted that fact.

Oh hell yes!! but that wouldn't have happened

Jones isn't a heavy weight... he shouldn't even be in the ring with tyson... but Gad damn that was brave!!

Bucket list brave! Just a testament to Roy Jones Jr.

I don't think Tyson ever fought someone smaller then him, he always fought big dudes that could throw em...

Roy played it smart and still came out bruised and battered... he was holding his ribs at the end, and Tyson didn't even get a decent head shot... but those body shots were vicious all through the match

They were even sayin, "He can't beat might on the inside", and at the end Jones starts dancing!! LOL

SO much wrestling in that match but yeah... Jones was just trying to survive...

That was the most fun i've had watching a boxing match since Tyson was actually fighting

aside from watching Conner get his ass kicked... but this was better!

Similar actually... Dropping a linx into a lions den
