I am just looking down at the rest of us just as I perceive the privileged wealth in the USA are now looking at all of us today in 2020. Especially with respect to the Covid-19 lockdowns

Just think back to High School. I am a white male who went to a Democrat controlled high school in New York State in a large suburb. Our graduating class was well over 600 people. Our entire lives were planned for us even though we didn't know it. Our graduating class in high school was run and controlled by a gang of white privileged christian kids all of whom were the sons and daughters of Doctors, Lawyers, Judges, Politicians, Business Owners and others of Power and Wealth.

Sure I played sports but the starting positions were already filled out by those kids of privilege even before we hit the field for the first practice. It happened in Football, Basketball and Baseball. So how did that happen? In brief the fix was in. Possibly that's how one of the three men's Gym teachers went on to be the Mayor. That's after his son graduated.

So, try to date one of the girls from that group. Forget about it. I stayed away as I had to fight my own other battles with them. Most of us did. It was simply because we got too close to the privileged core group in some way or form. Who knows.Oh, so fight one? Nah you had to fight at least three or more at a time and if you beat them they come back with a dozen or more. Teachers, well they always looked the other way.

So getting back to the girls in that privileged group. Correct most were all cheerleaders. They were pretty, smart and outgoing. I recall in home room that one approached me and asked me out to the Junior Prom as her date. She was beautiful and the very first thought in my head is that I am going to get the sheet beat out of me if I accept. No, I wont just get bruises but cuts, gashed and with stitches along with a possible broken arm and limb. I did not accept. Yes folks that was our High School in a Lilly white suburb. It wasn't pretty and it was white against white. Today its referred as racism by blacks but I cant play that card. Knowing what I know I have no beef.

So where am I going with this. In my opinion very few people ever change throughout their life. Those who were privileged A holes in high school simply never grow up and they age and morph into adult children. They take their power and influence to the grave. Me, I was small physically when I graduated but then afterward I grew exponentially, lifted weights and ended up just being a little taller over those of privilege. In college I said never again so I joined a bad boys fraternity. College also had NO agenda apart from those on sports or academic scholarships. But that's transparent and acceptable.

So lets look at Covid-19 today and some of the players as to who's who from the point of being privileged as possibly you can determine our fate based on my encounters from High School.

Here's a sampling. Many just came to mind

Privileged,

Donald Trump, President, New York State, Joe Biden. President Elect. Father; Used Car Salesman; Grandfather, Business Executive, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan, Governor Andrew Cuomo, New York State, Bill de Blasio, Mayor, New York City, Gavin Christopher Newsom, Governor, California, Nancy Pelosi , Congress, Ted Wheeler, Mayor, Portland Oregon, Kamala Harris, VP Elect, Beto O'Rourke, TBD, Nikki Haley, Fmr. Governor, South Carolina

Not Privileged:

John O. Brennan, Fmr. Director CIA. Father; Blacksmith, Chuck Schumer, Congress. Father; Exterminator, Adam Schiff, Congress, Father, Salesman

Thoughts?

Yeah, it's been happening like that since the beginning of time. You're not just realizing that are you? There have always been classes, privilege, advantages, etc. and will always be.

I said eff 'em, and I beat them at everything, everywhere. Of course, in sports I went out for track where it's individual. You keep what you kill. The fastest/best is clearly the fastest/best. There is no hiding it with a team.

I made sure I was smartest and best and made no apologies.

Of course, I wasn't popular, but by then, I didn't care. It got me to college and paid for most of that, so it paid off.

You mean like getting Covid and flying in a helicopter and receiving the best medical care in the world, then saying it's the best time in history?

All the while the peons are dry coughing and waiting for their unemployment check..

So you think Biden never was and is not over privileged?

Biden’s father, Joe Sr., was raised in a life of privilege, complete with polo matches and hunting trips in the Adirondacks, thanks to the lucrative career of his own father, Joseph, who ran a division of American Oil. But Biden’s dad failed in his own early business ventures, which included a Boston real estate deal and a crop-dusting effort, leaving the family “broke,” according to Joe Biden’s 2007 memoir. But his grandfather was rich and privileged, and his father was raised rich and privileged. www.forbes.com... 104d

Biden's son is worth $3million, so his grandfather/son/and he had/have extreme wealth. That makes him over privileged in the liberal world.

There is also some genealogical evidence that Biden's great-great-grandfather owned a slave. Making him automatically over privileged and guilty of slavery according to progressive/leftist thinking.

Just last week in NYC an arrogant tyrannical, leftist liberal Democratic Party voting, school told the children that all white people are the same as killer cops. That is the stand of the progressive left. Get with the program dear. If you are white, according to liberals, you are privileged based only on the color of your skin, to liberals that automatically makes you a racist as well.

Forbes said Biden's net worth is $4 million, you know the net worth of the average non-privileged white person today, right?

Net worth of John O Brennan $2 million
Net worth of Chuck Schumer $1.5 million
Net worth of Adam Schiff $2 million

Give me a break. Being born white, so that makes one automatically over privileged in the leftist/progressive/liberal world. Being a multi-millionaire, that makes him over privileged in the leftist progressive world.

If one has white skin, the arrogant tyrants of the liberal left say one is born privileged and racist as well. We hear it all the time and now it is being taught in liberal schools. Get with the Democratic Party tyrannical liberal ideology of the day my dear.

Anyone in the political leftist class is privileged and was born that way. Face it -- the Democrats have become the party of the monied, technocratic, academic elite. They long ago shed their working class face.

Joe Biden. President Elect. Father; Used Car Salesman

I didn’t know that. Interesting as I’ve referred to Joe as a used car salesman type personality. Guess the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

In regards to the OP. Yes, we’ve always had good ole boy clubs of wealth. Pretty much dominating everything. Everything is a micro of a macro on this planet. A top down effect. But if we didn’t have it, what would we have? Socialism.

To be honest i can not recollect ever asking to be here, my irresponsible parents manifested me into this world against what would become my own free will. Like everyone we were all just manifested here the same way no one asked to be here but because we are some choose to make others miserable and some choose to care for one another.

I actually spit my vodka and tea reading this OP with laughter.

It sort of goes with my working theory that most left wing minded people have high school issues and jealousy issues.

Me, I was raised very middle class, have one very rich grandfather who never helped my family with anything as far as I know, and one set of deceased grandparents who were farmers and left this earth with not too much but the land they toiled on their entire lives.

Anyway, not sure how old you are, but high school is over and if you want to be rich you've got about 3 months to figure it out.

You are welcome, I also noted Biden's personal fortune of $4 million also counts as privileged, as well as being the great-grandson of a slave owner.

Its 11:45 AM an you have already checked out with a bottle of boos? Really. Can I assume that you are on some disability check. That's OK with me but get over the boos as they want you to disappear. It s good for the bottom line.

I am not a leftest. I am a registered Republican. Obviously what I wrote is too complex for you while your under the influence. So sleep it out and come back tomorrow. I am not angry just pointing out a life experience that you mock.

There is a point that I will protect a "deplorable", but not you son.

You are a strange thing for a registered Republican. That is for sure. I mean what is the actual point of your OP then? Is it that you believed all the nonsense pumped to you via the MSM (I assume) that Joe Biden is Scranton?

BTW, I do fairly well for myself. As far as the vodka goes, I just took the day off today because I could. It happens, people that work occasionally take days off. Maybe not in Scranton, but pretty much everywhere else.

PS. I didn't get the cheerleader GF in HS, I could have cared less. But I did end up marrying one - well she was a pommer or whatever. Anyway, just hang in there, some day you might get that cheerleader you always dreamed of. Hell, my "practice" wife was a goth. Even dated a black girl for a bit. Sheez, I just remembered that in my mid 20's I had a total lesbian for a roomate. I like all kinds of critters, and I am not from Scranton. But the jewel of all my womanly relationships was a brief fling with a jewish gal.

I guess all I need is a midget or a muslim and I might be an actual good citizen.

I have eaten in muslim restaurants. Hopefully that counts for something.

Nope, not privileged. Raised by farmers where even as a small youngun on that panhandle of Texas dry land cotton farm; I had to work taking care of the animals and garden we raised to eat. I'm privileged now because I inherited that farm and it has oil leases, cell towers and still produced cotton and onions. However I also inherited a work ethic, made good grades in school and Univ and started my own business as a teenager in college, sold it and moved on to other entrepreneurial pursuits. I'm at work now...the cameras are always rolling!! Livin the dream....

Not privileged....BLESSED!

No, I realized it back in my early teens. I didn't hold a grudge and tried to get my close HS friends to go to the 20th reunion. None wanted to go because of what I wrote as they were all part of that experience. Its sad.
