Twitter is not a news organization so it can't use Section 230 and also publish or edit the news.

Trump's tweets aren't news, they're his personal opinion and if a private platform doesn't want them on there it's not his call.

Is this a right winger angry that a private business isn’t being regulated?

Shocked I say. Shocked.

Not American or a Trump or Biden fan but-

As I have been saying for years now-Big tech is not what it puports to be.
It is not about letting everyone take selfies, watch stupid cat videos,or show how cool they are on facebook.

What it is actually about is power and control. It is about the manufacture of a technological straight jacket that enslaves the entire planet. It is about manufacturing their version of reality.

I don't care what political affiliation you are-when there are companies out there attempting to change reality through censorship/steering the news agenda, that is a serious problem.

The internet is sort of humanities "Hive consciousness."
Percieved reality, ways of thinking,behaviour,truth-can and is being changed by very corrupt wealthy corporations into what they want the world to be.

If just so happens that they want a future that resembles the very worst ideas of dystopian sci fi.
And for that vision to proceed,it appears they have deemed a Biden/Harris administration necessary.

Section 230 isn't about news but curated content. It covers individuals as well.

If they are gonna curate content and behave like a publisher then they need to be open to the liability that entails. Because when you're a publisher you're responsible for the content.

If you're an open forum as Twitter says then there are liability protections against what others say. But if you curate content and allow an Antifa accounts to post threats and plan riots but censor and ban people who are not then your 230 protections should be removed.

Who is also the President and the Supreme Court has already ruled on several occasions that government officials do not have the exact same Constitutional protections as private citizens.

It's not me reporting the "news", I just read it. It's the sensationalism of everything he does.

If the "news" was legit. President Trump would be in prison 4 years ago.

Everything he does or says is "news".

It's not my narrative, its theirs.

It was their narrative that Trump colluded with the Russians. it was completely false. But yet Twitter let it fly.

It never happened. but yet anyone can go on Twitter can say it did. Its their narrative.

Regardless this big tech dragnet is being justified by leftists and libertarians is not healthy for the discourse of the country.

Censorship never is.

This really is a fundamental philosophical discussion.

How much fascism are you willing to tolerate?
