Btw, I'm keeping a positive stance even though I personally know two people who have passed from it, one without additional life-threatening illnesses and in the early 30s. Albeit he wasn't a close friend, still someone I've known for many years. Don't recall the flu or the cold doing that to any of my friends so far. Yet, many of my closer friends are passing it at the moment or have already done so, with close to no symptoms (losing smell and taste being the major repeating one and even I probably have passed it as I had a period without any sense of smell). Others however are definitely getting the full spectrum of symptoms and describe it as a weird and persistent little bugger.

I guess being a recent cancer survivor in remission I'm actually kind of chill with the idea of death. And I do realize the odds are good for most people. And I hate it when I see how many people are spending their time (which is by all means, a limited commodity) falling for the trends and becoming a parrot of negativity and evil masterplans.

But the virus IS real, and there are people out there who feel the kick of it and it's not just elderly people that are prone. So friggin brighten up. Lets tone down the doomporn and drink a pint while watching this develop. From a safe distance. When it's all over in a couple of years I'll gladly drink one face to face

I don't really trust someone on the Internet who's telling me something, especially Icke. If it comes to the Internet, I prefer peer-reviewed papers, information from the sources. I skip the media spin on it all. Always. So I'm not sure that Icke's someone I would trust before trusting the experience of people I personally know. The fact I know a person in their 30s who died from complications from a pneumonia during a pandemic of supposedly a fake virus who does exactly that... somehow tells me "it's all a conspiracy" ain't as correct as some assume it is and we are in a bit of a pickle. But is it the end of the world or the end of our lives as we've known them so far? Will it all change? I think the biggest change in the long run will be the growth of home office jobs in the IT sector in a post-COVID world. Other than that - no, I don't think there will be new militarized police going from door to door keeping us in check. They don't need that, they gave us our smartphones, that's plenty.

Do I want you or anyone to live isolated in their house for the rest of their life cause of this respiratory virus which I think isn't the worst we've dealt with? No, of course not.

And indeed, you are right, they can always figure something else out given that this thing with the virus works. But they don't have a reason to do so. And more importantly - you actually are underestimating the supposed people running the show - do you really think the whole of humanity will be caught with the same bait time and time again? Do you seriously think that anyone in power is considering using this in the future and not realizing people aren't all that stupid? If there was a thing such as TPTB, then conspiracy theorists are largely underestimating them to be fools

To summarize "always look on the bright side of life". Viruses have been around, they will be around, someday a new virus will turn up that will be dangerous, we will have to deal with that (or our children). It's going to be unpleasant. But that will pass. Will it be preplanned? Don't think so. Cause dealing with viruses and illnesses is quite common throughout our history - these are a part of our world and have been here loooong before we came around. Ironically, viruses are our ancestors in one way or another. It's not a new thing and it's not going to go away forever once this is over with. Are we going to spend the next 50 years being a globe full of hypochondriacs fearing for their health? Nah. Don't underestimate the durability and will of humans.

Brighten up!

I actually am a believer. The played-with made in lab version or nature's solar minimum gift. There's a weak but weird pneumonia around. I think I have it the second time now but it could be my cigar or the pollution. The only sure thing is that it's hyper abused, cashed out and it came in the right time as if it was planned and released. People are dying from flu and pneumonia all the time and the numbers are not small. Or fake like with this one. I agree that it's counter-productive to question it's existence now but I reserve the option even tho I'll probably never be able to research hudreds of coronaviruses to make sense of it

Exactly. That’s the main point I am trying to convey. I am not discounting any theory in all actuality. I don’t care about any of them when it comes to corona because this subject has become beyond laughable in the polarities that people take. To me this being manufactured is a slim option as I am not educated in microbiology or virology. I leave the studies and conclusions to those with the right education while still taking it with a grain of salt (as people are prone to mistakes, wether common folk or scientists). And I skip the mediator - the press. Btw, the experts seem to be on the opinion that this isn’t a manmade virus without a doubt, no?

And if it’s manmade - what does that change for you me and the rest of the world?

If my time comes tomorrow, fair enough, no matter if it’s a piece of bread that chokes me or the corona, I will still be living the today consciously and not wasting my time on trying to figure out and worry too much about things that are beyond my control. Cause you never know when tomorrow comes. I am simply sorry for people who get wrapped around the whole negative “they’re effing with us” point of view, not realizing most of their needs to see a masterplan are rooted within themselves. And all of that energy can sum up to something more productive.

Not saying all conspiracies are bunk, neither am I saying people shouldn’t be informed and just keep their head in the sand when there is injustice. On the contrary.

But there’s a fine line between being informed and constantly waiting/analyzing for the worst, which has become a trend on this website.

I know that the pieces seem to fit, but again, that’s always tough to tell if true or figment of the mind. Remember, the mind likes seeing patterns even if they’re not there. Check Arnofsky’s Code PI if you haven’t, a bit hard at moments but generally quite smart. Also shoutouts to Rorschach, as well as Neil DeGrass Tyson in episode 1 of Cosmos. *wink wink*

Here’s to hoping we don’t end up with a planet of the minks scenario

P.s. “they” is “us” and the sooner we realize this as a species, the better the chances in the longer run
