That's funny. I questioned something here and was literally called a brain dead leftist devil worshipping Satanist and told they were sorry I had no soul. For just disagreeing and asking a question.

Yea. Well that's just obviously stupid and indefensible. I'm certainly not saying that folks on the right are never abusive to the left, but it certainly seems to me that it's mostly the other way around. Maybe like 80/20 or so.

I will admit, though, that my view on that may be tainted. About 90% of my Facebook feed are leftie friends, I live in a very blue city and work in a very blue industry, so most of my friends are hard left...like Bernie is not left enough for them. So I see the left abusing folks on the right every damn day and seldom the other way around due to my particular social media echo chamber. I'll admit that perhaps I'm seeing a bias there...

Trump never expected to win in 2016. He expected to lose and use the publicity to promote a Trump TV network he was floating as an idea. That was why he had not prepared for transition and had walked around shocked the day after the election.

Trump also doesn't like making deals, because he is so poor at it, as shown by his tax records and the string of failed business ideas like:

Trump Steaks,
Trump University,
Trump Airlines,
Trump Vodka,
Trump Mortgages,
Trump Casino's, like the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City,
the GoTrump search engine,
Trump the Game,
Trump Magazine,
Trump Ice bottled water,
the New Jersey Generals football team,
the Tour de Trump bike race,
the Trump on the Ocean restaurant,
the Trump Network vitamin 'network marketing' scheme,
Trumped! talk radio show,
Trump New Media, video on demand & internet,
Trump Towers in various places around the world that never happened, or went bust.

And so on...

According to some, Fred Trump's empire, that Donald Trump was nearly the sole heir to, was worth around $52 billion dollars. By the time Trump assumed office, Donald was claiming to be worth, perhaps, $10 billion, but according to his tax records, he had been nearly broke for more than 20 years, even despite the pay he was getting from hosting his game-show!

Not to mention the legal hot water Trump is now in and that has been deferred while he is President. Trump is likely to go to jail and loose the businesses that he does hold a stake in. At this point in time, enough has been revealed about his true business situation, that no one would risk investment in him or his schemes. Especially as so many investors and contractors have been stiffed by Trump already and that is now public knowledge.

Do you really think the left has not been insane these last 4 years? lol From the media, to the House, to the riots and WOKE it has been a non-stop crazy train event, and that train is still going... Riots will not stop, the TDS whine to get Trump on some crime will not stop...the left is really not in a good place...

I think you may be right.
Many of us think that this was his original motivation in running in the first place, to increase his BRAND and organize his own media empire. Some say that he had plans to take over Breitbart at that time though I have no real knowledge that that part was true. However there is this already

www.facebook.com...

So yep, Mr. Media shows a lot of indication that your supposition is a likely scenario, should he lose that is and that is still way up in the air.

And again a however. However there are all those suits and charges against him that he has had protection from by being POTUS. If that protection is removed by him becoming just a citizen once more, whose to say that those will not hamper him so much that he maybe not have much of a future at all.

I don't think so. At least not to elected Republicans. Trump was the only one with balls to stand up and fight for what is good. We need more in office like him. Someone who ignores all the mouth breathing deadbeats who call you racist every day and just go out and get the job done.

I think we are both right. It occurs on both sides. Facebook is terrible. I left it as the majority of my friends are Republicans and I got tired of seeing their degrading the left. So I see it happen on one side and you see it on the other. I personally am a "lets agree to disagree" person. No need for name calling.

Just curious, how exactly did Trumpers treat leftists and independents for the past 4 years? Because from where I'm sitting, on the outside of the cathedral looking in, looked to me like the right treated the left a hell of a lot more respectfully than the other way around. But what do I know? I'm just one of those whack-a-doodle third-party types that enjoys watching both sides make fools of themselves.

Well, for one Trump clearly insulted everyone, nearly 24x7 (many of his Tweet posts were often at 3AM).

The 'right-wing' pro-Trumpers accused moderates, who were really centrist, of being 'leftists', 'socialists' and 'liberals', which they weren't, and still aren't.

They accused anyone involved with any other political view than their own or of civil rights, of being extremists and leftists.

Trump denigrated people from allied countries and damaged trade with them. He promoted ties with enemy states, praising and insulting them in succession. He denigrated the armed forces, FBI, CIA and the police and cut funding. He also cut funding to several important political and societal support organizations. He granted exemption from tax to large business that called themselves televangelist religious organizations, while doing nothing for the real religious organizations. He insulted the Pope. He insulted servicemen who had given their lives for their country. He jailed people, separated families, and caged children who were seeking asylum in the USA. He said that they were all, without exception, criminals and were being sent by foreign governments to destroy the USA, like poor people from poor countries were some big plot against the USA?

He threatened to remove birthright citizenship, despite it being in the Constitution. He also assaulted the Constitution repeatedly with executive orders and pronouncements later ruled illegal.

He mishandled the COVID-19 situation, repeatedly, and for long periods of time. For him, it was all about blame and he could not coordinate a response.

This is a good run down on this clown Mr. Onaut. What I really wonder about is how do his supporters deal with that long list. Are they not aware of it or might it be that they are and don't think it means anything.

A truly sad thing about Trump is how he has bastardized American conservatism. His hugging of the flag to display patriotism. His posing with the Bible to display his spirituality. I"ts all a sham yet his people lap it up. Any real conservative revolution has been usurped by this wannabe Messiah (I am the only one who can save America) Without him, conservatism flounders and that is sad.

Personally, I don't think trump actually cares and never did. He got what he wanted. He got to be president. He got to be the most important and famous person in the world. It's pretty much all that dude's wanted, he got it, I would wager money that of Trump were to die tomorrow, he'd have a big fat grin on his face. He got to live out his life's dream, become rich, powerful and important. That's pretty much the only thing Trump ever has or ever will care about.

I have been on the outside watching as I never did care or join in politics in the past.
I think you are wrong, I think Trump has a deep love of country and his motivation was that, seeing the fall of our way of life. The sell out to China and the NWO plan for the Great Reset, this is not a new goal or plan but has been being prepared for many many years and the manipulations and movements all through every world Governments have taken place to get the chess pieces in place for this 'pandemic" and this moment in time.

Being among those in power Trump was well aware of the goal and the manipulations going on and no one was courageous enough to face the people involved as they kill people who put a crimp in their plans. The rest are simply bribed and paid to be a part of it all.
Remember Trumps fight in toe 80's because of his huge flag? He clearly has shown his greet love for his country in many ways over time.

Have you looked at any of the other worlds rich population to see what ventures they had that failed over time?
Why did his patriotism show long before he decided to become president?
Why has the USA let political leaders get away with murder for so long if America did not need saving?

Have you read what the NWO plans and what they say they have done to bring in their new order and who is involved? They are not hiding any longer. Who has stood against them?

Will Trump be more powerful in death than in life?

I think the Democrats need to be very careful of what they wish for. Even if Trump ends up being defeated, this is far from the end of Trump's (or Trump Jr.'s) involvement in politics and media. In fact, he may end up being even MORE powerful and influential outside the presidency than inside - remember, this is a guy who likes money and 'making deals' even more than he likes being president, and he has the money and support base to be a HUGE influencer in our country's political future. Here's what I think is going to happen (or is actually already in the works)...

Trump loses, and shortly thereafter, announces he's starting his own media company with a new cable channel, internet streaming service, and social media site dubbed "Trumpvision", "Trumptube", and "Trumpbook". This will be the new home for conservative voices, will provide open and honest debate about government and politics, will be the centerpiece for the destruction of existing deep state power structures and leftist ideology, and will give birth to a whole slew of new stars in the political pundit scene. Basically it will be a second Fox News channel, but far more entertaining and without the corporate & neoconservative influence. Maybe more of a Fox News meets the Comedy Channel vibe. He'll offer fat contracts for prime time shows to a whole slew of internet stars like Dave Rubin, Ben Shapiro, Tim Pool, and Steven Crowder, who will be able to continue their online programming while also reaching a huge new market via cable television.

This influence will make him and his supporters MUCH more powerful in the long run, far beyond the white house. He'll be able to set up a system of political influence that will last for decades to come, long past his time on Earth, and will end up 'Trumping' anything the left can throw at it.

That's my prediction, mark it down!

Trump News Network is coming either in 2020 or 2024, buys OAN and opens up shop.

He mishandled the COVID-19 situation, repeatedly, and for long periods of time. For him, it was all about blame and he could not coordinate a response.

Now see, this is the sort of response I get from Trump haters every time. A giant list of terrible things with no substantive evidence, and no realistic way for me to actually respond in detail to any one of them. It's this 'piling on' tactic that I so often see play out in social media where, if you push back against an accepted leftist narrative, the lefties swarm you like a thousand crazed jackals to the point where you can't possibly keep up or provide any cogent response. So here's what I'm going to do: I'll pick 3 things of my choosing from your list to actually respond to since I can't spend 2 hours addressing every point:

1. "Trump damaged trade from allied countries'. What countries? What trade? Granted, maybe he hurt the weapons trade because he was the first POTUS since Carter to not get us into any new wars. Maybe China? Other than that, best as I could tell, trade was going just dandy until the Rona showed up. Sure he damaged trade with China, and I'm not a fan of his tariffs, but truth be told China was giving us a pounding in the rear for years on trade and we just kept taking it - he lashed out with tariffs and China didn't like it. To damn bad for them. Other than that, I'm at a loss as to what countries and what trade you may be referring to.

2. "He insulted the pope" LOL! Good, he had it coming. That arrogant socialist should stick to his lane, he has zero credibility in anything outside of bible study class. And I'm a Catholic.

3. "He caged children" No he didn't. It's well documented that human traffickers, coyotes, drug cartels, etc. kidnap children from poor central Americans and use them as cover to get into the country. What would you have the border agents do? Just let these people in, only to abandon these poor kids, or even worse traffic them into even more horrific situations? They separate folks coming in illegally until they can confirm that they actually are family related, and if they aren't, we keep the kids in a holding facility. We look for their families, but sometimes we can't find them and then these kids are stuck. What are we supposed to do, dump them over the border with a 12 pack of gorditas, a $20 bill, and a hearty 'good luck kid'? No, we feed them, shelter them, clothe them, school them, etc. It's no club med, but it's better than being left alone in the mexican desert.
