I’m predicting a tie of 269 to 269 at this point which is terrible for the nation. It displays just how divided the nation is, despite desperate attempts by some to prove otherwise, the nation is truly split. If dems hadn’t vilified half the nation, they might have won. A 269 to 269 count really looks possible in my eyes. Biden and trump each take what they currently lead in. Will congress decide the next american president?

Doesn't show how divided we are it shows how one side cheated to gum up the works. You will never convince me that this is even remotely legit. Countries across the globe see it and Democracy in the world is dead.

Check your math dude. If Biden wins the 3 states he is currently leading, that gives him 270.

If Biden wins NV, AZ, MI and WI the three Electoral Votes of ME give him 270 and mucho salty tears to make memory-enhancing smoothies with.

If they didn't pick the worse candidate from the primaries, I think it's safe to say they would have won given no one is passionate about Biden. Settle for Biden as the honest lefties say.

That being said... I think this is indicative Trump doesn't have as much support as many think or want to believe. There's no doubt he has one or the most passionate bases of any president I've seen, but that doesn't mean the largest.

The saddest part about this all to me is how dishonest partisans on both sides are being about the situation at hand. This is two of the worst candidates for the situation at hand IMO.

I took a good long look at that Dem Debate stage and honestly, Biden was the least questionable candidate. Not saying that he isn’t a train wreck in his own right...just the least questionable of the bunch.

Currently it's 270/267 for Biden, takeing all current leadings in the different left over States into consideration.

Trump will only win this election if he can keep at least one of the 2016 flipped states Michigan or Wisconsin.

If not, it's going to be a close call 270/267 for Biden.

My prediction.

Quick disclaimer, I don't identify with the left... So any observation from me is one from the outside looking in.

That said, I'd argue he had the most questionable platform in the context of being a Democrat. If we're to say he's representing the left's platform, he is the worst to do so.

His claim to fame is being the VP under Obama. That admin was a continuation in many ways of Bush Era policies. Even if we took Biden only at his word for this cycle, he's a wishy washy "moderate".

Again, those are just observations from an independent.

269 vs 269 = Republicans choose President and Vice President.

In the scenario of a tie, each state would only have a single vote in the House of Representatives.

The party with more House seats would determine the presidential vote.

Republicans control 26 state delegations, while Democrats hold 23.
