I think a meme is jist any image with some message or word depending on the point of it. Some are animated, some have no worss i think.

This is certainly a type of meme, a comparison type.

It's got to suck knowing your financial security is about to leave. But I'm sure you can find some influence campaign for some other country going on to get your cash from.

It's like the old story of the wolf and the dog.

Money and products from American trade had already left, and guess what?

We are OK.

We are economically and technologically self sufficient and produce more than we consume.

It comes from a history where, we are so far from most of the rest of the world and our trade routes are only mainly an advantage for our country and not so much for our trading partners.

Also, we have a culture of significant innovation and scientific achievement, despite our small population. We call it our "number 8 wire" attitude. (there are other countries that despite their size, seem to out-produce larger ones - Israel, Sweden, Japan, etc).
