"You've had your bolt, Mr. Bond." Worst news all month.
Why is it an October with so many surprises in it:
had to be this good man at the All Saints Eve for
our last? RIP Sir Sean.. and
"Welcome to the New World" , indeed.

God Speed Sean Connery.
You were a reason to go to the movies when I was young.
You will be missed.

R.I.P. Sir Connery!

Loved your acting, and you only got better as you aged ;-)

The man has a filmography that spans nearly 60 years, besides being referenced in movies and shows he was never in, but a few of my favorite characters (among others) he played was Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez in the Highlander and William of Baskerville in the Name of the rose.

Respects Mr. Connery.

there can be only one , sean connery

I will miss him. Bummer, but 90 is a good run by any estimation. He made so many great movies. I remember them all, but among them, liked his early sci-fi work, which is often overlooked. His sci-fi movies I liked are Zardoz, and Outland....

90 is a gid age for a Scotsman , most scots males dont make it past 60

That is not the AGE that has killed them but the usual poor living condition's north of the border especially in run down council estates, alcoholism was a serious problem for several generations as well but it is not genetic, nothing to do with being a scot and everything to do with lifestyle, environment and poverty.

But true.

Apparently he was suffering from dementia as well and it took it's toll on him in later life, there won't be another like him though.

"Darby Ogill and the Little People". Yes, Connery was in a Disney movie.
And" The Man Who Would Be King". What an ending. They just wouldn't make a movie like that anymore.
