Perfect, and well done!

IDE is an older standard than SATA, and definitely would have issues if the wrong one was selected. Not much deals with IDE anymore.

You know how many times I have found a forum or discussion board, talking about my problem but then you hear nothing or it has a "solved" tag but no one ever feels like writing down the solution.

Answer: 100% of the time because I had to figure it out together with ATS. So I thought I share it, it took a minute but will save others hours.

one tip I can give,
dont wait for it to say press "Del"
as soon as you switch it on,
hold "Del" it works for me.

you can put the hard drive in a second computer.
to get lost data.
