Will the fine for no health insurance come back under Biden?

Never seen before in history, Obamacare fined people for not having health insurance.

The fine for me was 800-1000 dollars.

Trump got rid of that fine his first year in office, but it took a year or 2 to kick in.

Do people think Biden will bring that fine back.

For many the fine was cheaper then being forced to purchase insurance.

I never liked the idea of being told to pay for something or else you will be fined.

If Trump eliminated the fine with an Executive Order then yes, the fines can come back because Biden can negate that initial EO.

I always enjoyed the benefits of taxes...my roads are fairly good. The landscaping and parks are well maintained. The police and fire are well equipped.
Garage removal top notch.

I didn't get anything back for paying a fine. Turned out a lot of the fine money and the increase in health insurance under Obama was a big distribution of money.

Under Obama people who would never pay one cent towards health care or care one second about their health would now get good health care coverage.

Of course it'll come back. If the scumbag is going to reverse the tax cuts then he'll absolutely bring back the penalty. It helps pay the subsidies for the scumbags who won't work. I guess I'd have to go back to lying on my taxes about having healthcare.

Free? Only if you didn't have a job. For those of us who are middle class, we couldn't juggle the bills to make room for an extra $450 (cheapest) per month and pay $7,500.00 OOP expense for in-network visits. Obamacare, while insuring 20 million more people (very telling), actually knocked roughly 35 to 40 million out of being able to afford it.

ETA: The $450 per month was during year one. It got more expensive each year.

Taxes are the only way to pay for that delusion.

Allowing consumers to buy prescription drugs from other countries. To create more competition for U.S. drug corporations, Biden will allow consumers to import prescription drugs from other countries, as long as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has certified that those drugs are safe.

I'd prefer NOT to buy drugs MADE IN CHINA myself.

1.) So who gets or where did the funds generated from these fines go?

2.) Why are we even responsible for the lazy individuals that feed off the healthcare system, if obese on their own purgatives and now have diabetes’s why do we have to pay for their own demise, their drug addictions, their neglect in self health?

3.) The people should make the call on vote’s when it effects our choices and not the congress or senates because in actuality their voices are not ours and neither is Obamacare, we the People didn’t have a say so!

Just feels weird trying to find money to make sure the guy who raped 3 women get his heath needs.

The heath care formula in America is not complicated.
There are more people who will never contribute a penny towards health care or care one second about their health then there are those who do contribute.

It's an expensive idea.

People need to live with their decisions and the consequences.
If you never cared one second about your health and never will contribute a penny, and at 45 you need transport and insulin everyday.

Thats the thing: our laws do not allow for a third party to be a tax collector. If they did, we could abolish the IRS and let private industry do the job for far cheaper.

The fact that Justice Roberts ruled the way he did, flipping his vote at the last minute, has made him my personal enemy. I put him in a bucket just above Obama, which is about as low as a human can be in my esteem.
