The Trump media epiphany

The political landscape has changed drastically. Normal things are gone. Media coverage is completely political. Fairness isn't a thing at this juncture.

So why not play the same game. Trump should only have OANN, and Fox allowed into his briefings. The only news from the administration will come from a Trump friendly source. Sure he will be able to hide, lie, and obfuscate almost everything he is doing, but isn't that what Biden is doing with his media?

I think if there is someone who reads this, and is close to the president, bring this up. And yes, I have more ideas along these lines.
In the interest of fairness. Something the left used to promote.

The radio was talking this morning about how some outlets were ignoring the Bobulinski story because they were afraid they'd be denied access if Biden wins, so why not?

I'm not saying either major party in the U.S. is facist, they're not, but your idea reminded me of this passage from a book detailing how fascism took over Italy.

Finally, the freedom of the press was severely curtailed. In the days following Oct. 28, 1922, Fascists prevented most major dailies from publishing news of events.

Trump's 2016 victory was more a product of social media than support or resistance from the MSM. Right now in congress a bitter battle is being fought over the future of social media, and social media is shadow-banning and outright-banning voices by the bushel...a lot of information is not getting out as fast as it might otherwise. Rather than worrying who snaps photos at official press conferences the Trump campaign should be (and doubtless is) more worried about the state of social media.

The quality of some of those reporters in the white house press briefings is bad. Helps confirm Trumps claims on fake news as they just expose themselves for the idiots they are. It is not a good look having such incompetence in the Whitehouse.

I sincerely believe it will take a drastic move like what the OP is referencing to wake America up to the real problem.

If Trump would implement this, and when the outrage came, just show montage after montage of the totality of the MSM repeating the same talking points, over, and over, and over....... after several months, a few on the left might start to grasp the point.

However, why is trump complaining about the MSM hiding the story when all he has todo is hold an official press conference with the appropriate officials and confirm what he has been saying about biden and the laptop. Heck even yesterday his DOJ and FBI held a China national security press conference and not a word about biden and the laptop. Not even a question in regards to it.

at minimum it would make the MSM acknowledged the story. You would be surprised how many people are completely clueless about it.

the silence from the FBI is highly suspect. But the winner of all this will tell how much more of this is ever heard. And I predict about 2 minutes after Trump wins, the cries of how horrible it would be to go after Joe for this will start, just as they did for Hillary. Justice is only a word, and a silly one at that.
