Some will get taken into the folds, but not as many people seem to believe ( way too many ).

The foundation of the International Political Affiliation for Equity and All Things Good, ( it may be a different name to suit a cute acronym) rests on our detour to "socialism".

Things will change rapidly, there will be no more soft pushes of infringement.

Most of these people who think they will atleast have some similance of power's job will be ran by "controlled" AI.

Imo

I may be exposing a bit of ignorance on my part here , but that is ok it's part of life how can we gain wisdom without first admitting we know very little about something.

www.foxbusiness.com...

I'm using the above report as an example of Big Social media tech siding with the Democrats or aka the future Socialist , because one way or another these guys will gain power whether they win now or win in four years.

My question is this .

Why would huge Capitalist Big tech companies side with Socialist ? It makes no since these companies rose to power and made there billions using the Capitalist system if it were not for Capitalism they would be just some tech firm under the purview of a Socialist Government.

These companies seem to be doing everything with in there power legal and illegal to make sure these Socialist capture power in the USA , can someone please shed some light on this .

Billion dollar free enterprise tech companies , and they want socialism I must admit I am at a loss on this one.

I'm a capitalist, I'm also a socialist...not a commie, or of extreme view. D'ya want to label me in some way?

There are still around 1,000,000 labels that one can be named.

Why would huge Capitalist Big tech companies side with Socialist ?

its actually very simple

1. The huge Capitalist Big tech companies and special interest groups fund (congress) and in return CONTROL the congress. Gov't (congress) is dependent on the huge Capitalist Big tech companies money for positive PR, Positive MSM access, elections, and reelections.

2. While the gov't(congress) doesn't control the huge Capitalist Big tech companies, they do control the consumers and the market.

3. The bigger the gov't the more control of the the consumers and the market. Since huge Capitalist Big tech companies control the gov't they want bigger gov't because it gives them more control over the consumer and the market.

That is why regardless of political rhetoric BOTH party always give you the same thing/
A. bigger gov't
B. less consumer protection
C. More Oligarch protection
D. Less personal rights.

Summary

Big globalist tech industry controls gov't . Govt controls consumer and market. Bigger gov;t gives more control to the Big globalist tech

they look to the currant Chinese model of communism. where if you are held in favor by the government, you can make millions off the backs of the repressed peons. and not only will they be able to make millions, but the peons will even be forced to use their company items and programs, with most competition being illegal. and so they want in on the ground floor, to insure their future prospects by being able to remind those in control that they helped them get there.

We are already a socialist country.
Just about every goal in the communist manifesto has been met with or government.

"Big Tech" and "them" that run it, are all products of the "government run"...."education system" which is in the "Communist Manifesto".

Socialism, Communism, Fascism are the same form of government. Regardless of what ignorant "educated people say. All of them forms of government leads to the same thing.

Hitler and his "party" were all "Democratically" elected.

Karl Marx loved "Democracy". He noted, it was the "easiest form of government to install socialism". Not because it gave "freedom of choice". But because the majority of people are lazy and ignorant. Especially when the government trains/educates and feeds them. A vicious circle!
He understood human nature.

The U.S.A. was founded by men and women that weren't cattle or pets, to be trained by a master.

We were founded to be a Republic of free individuals that agree to "obey" one law, The C.O.T.U.S....

Individual rights, by law, can not be taken away by a "majority". However? The majority are free to not associate with an individual that brings them to tears, or hurts their feelings. If life, liberty and happiness is not being taken from them? There's no "crime". And no new laws need to be made.

Fear is a governments, (any government) biggest leverage. And they'll use it.

Individuals have "rights" enshrined in "law". The government has "authority", and only that authority, given to it, by "law". Very little of what the national government does now is actually delegated to it by the C.O.T.U.S.

Anyone that has read The Communist Manifesto and didn't like it. Is an intelligent individual. Anyone that read it,.. and thinks it's a good idea? Probably has an "education" with papers to prove it and believes it's a splendid idea.

You should probably watch Hunger Games with a political America 2020 lens.

Then you would have your answer.

The America of the Hunger Games, Panem, was divided into 12 smaller regions which were under the control of a totalitarian Capitol and the dictator Snow.

That regime exercised control of the masses by the privileged minority, using direct oppression, militarist strength, propaganda, and police brutality extending to public capital punishment.

The government of Panem did not acknowledge the environment (which it was destroying), gender equality, or the ethnic/cultural diversity of the 12 regions, which had different rights.

There was nothing socialist or democratic about it, it was a purely right-wing government, but it did devolve from a democratic republic, as most such tyrannies have in the real world.

They don't want socialism.

They want markets that are fully controlled and tailored to them. There's services that every human being needs to operate in a modern society.

They want exclusive rights to said commerce. Monopolies.

Socialism is just a way to deliver the payload.

The problem isn't socialism.

They are firmly cemented in the positions at the top of the pyramind now. Under a capitalist system, that power is precarious. Given the nature of their business models, they can be supplanted as quickly as they rose to power.

I think they - and the (ahem) Alphabet agencies I personally believe are behind the big boys, want them fixed in as the central controls for trade, data, information, etc., under a Socialist (?) system.

They companies don't want or act socialist, Dems are right wing corporatist/neo-liberal rather than socialist. It's more that most Americans don't know what basic political terms mean as a result of cold war propaganda and false impression of choice/false claims by the Dems that they're left wing.

This is where I sigh and role my eyes. You're confusing socialism with communism.

The majority of the world is either socialist or aspires to be socialist. America's staunchest allies, Israel, Britain and Japan are all socialist states, and so is most of the EU. India and Pakistan both want to be socialist but their economies aren't yet advanced enough to support it, and China will probably be fully socialist within a generation.

Socialism is a completely legitimate form of governanceeconomic management that's fully compatible with big businesses. All that it means is that the government procures services through taxation, rather than the consumer paying directly.

Some countries choose to do significantly more than this, some choose to do the bare minimum.

Socialism is actually very beneficial for big business. It shifts the burden for things like pensions and social care off of the companies an on to government. Imagine Google and Twitter not having to have massive departments to manage all of the things for their people because the state is doing them instead. It lowers their overheads and cuts their responsibilities.

I expect that people are going to try to attack this comment, and I'm going preemptively answer them.

Socialism isn't the big villain that it's made out to be in the US media. It doesn't giving layabouts and refusenik "free stuff". Most socialist countries don't have free college, for example. Socialism doesn't mean reducing choice, or seizing assets. Mostly it means that you pay more tax, but get back more in return. If you don't get it back when you're younger you most certainly do get it back when your older. For example, with state eyecare and dental care.

I've lived in various socialist countries, so I'm speaking from personal experience.

For companies like Google and Twitter, socialism means that they have lower overheads because they don't have to be so responsible for things like pensions and social care for their people (Corporation tax is actually lower in a lot of socialist countries so they might pay less tax in the end). They also have a user base that has fewer basic worries. If you live in a socialist country college is usually cheaper (I paid less for my entire education than for a single year at even a low red brick in the US) so they also have a good pool of educated users.

It really annoys me when people come on to forums like this and they say "socialism" but describe communism.

They hope to gain access to china's untapped market, as soon as the United States bows down to a more authoritarian government.

Biden is hoping to use his privilege to achieve that goal.
