I really like the scavenging aspect in S&S - checking cupboards and drawers for junk supplies to bring back to camp for the crafting mechanics. Its a damn great game.

based on the reviews of the Q2, that was the first thing i purchased - a 3rd party elite style head strap.

You'll need a pc to figure it out... but i get mixed answers... some people get it free, some don't...

What games do you have for the quest 2?

Have you tried that real vr fishing game?
If the graphics are nice, I think I'm gonna buy that next, along with the exorcist.
It would be terrifying if outlast was available on there.

Haven't tried Fishing yet... it looks good but im unsure about VR fishing...

i used to love the older fishing games on consoul... so i may giver a try one day...

I tend to like puzzles, exploration, some action... Fighting games... not so much on the shooters but once in a while

And poker in VR is amazing

Well, I spent a chunk of change these past few days.

Pistol whip -currently my favourite game. Changed my shirt twice today because it's a full body workout. Lol.

And side quest : Doom 3 - highly recommend this one. Probably one of the best looking games I've played so far.

I have been loving Onward.
My God is this a great game.
My friend players on the Rift and since it's cross platform we can game together.
We have just been doing Coop vs thr AI.
I was thinking the AI would be mindless idiots, basically just walking target practice - boy was I wrong!
Dependant on your actions, They will actively hunt you down, flank and ambush you.
They are better than most players lol.
Currently we are just learning the maps, call outs and working on our active in game comms with just the coop but once we get gudwe will try the MP.

The only gripe I have is the difficulty playing with friends.
You can invite someone to the game.
One of us has to go in ahead of each other, set up a server and password.
Then the other has to go through server browser to find the other persons name.
Sometimes theres like 60 pages of active servers, so lots of searching.
But the Experience... None like it man.
The guns are great and the customization is awesome.

I just ordered a rifle stock off amazon to mount my controllers on for better aiming in game.

My only problem with the quest 2 itself is the battery life while gaming.
I'm waiting on my external battery to arrive, so once that comes in it will be a Jone issue.
But currently only being able to game for an hour and a half or so, sorta sucks.

Other than that loving this thing.

glad you're enjoying it.... it is a fantastic little machine!

I don't know if you play standing or seated... but you can play plugged in IF you're seated

Heres something surprising though... personally im not a fan of shooting games but VR shooters are usually ok...

One of my buddies got a q2 a few days ago... told him i'd grab any multiplayer game he wanted to play... so he grab population 1... sigh... alright lets do some shooting

MAN was i surprised... that game is a ton of fun!!

Im a late night kinda guy... im usually up til 5-6am every night... Well i didn't get to bed til noon the night i bought that damn game..... Gesus i didn't want to stop playing..... soo good

Is pop 1 cross platform as well?

Real VR fishing is actually really enjoyable and oddly rewarding.
I met a couple cool dudes while casting on the river.
It's not cross platform though.

When I can, I usually play sitting.
But for onward, you need to be standing because you can go prone or crouch depending on your body position.
And each position has its own speed varients in game.
But for doom 3 or the walking dead, I'm always sitting.

thats a military sim ya... Not sure if its my kind of game... again, shooting games are so not my thing... theres just so many of them... almost every game these days is a shooter

only reason i got pop one is the other aspects of the game....

you get a wing suit so you can fly.. and you can climb anything...

That's correct, a mil-sim.
But it's not like kiddie COD or anything.

I was playing Pistol Whip the other day and realized you can add a bunch of modifiers that change the game play...
I thought I got a leg workout before while playing.
My goodness, I had jelly legs the day lol.
