OMG, POTUS Gasping for Air!!!

Doesn't look good, does it? 8 seconds of the man seemingly sucking a bit of wind through his teeth. Twitter is lit up with the short clip, and the asshat Matt Drudge has placed it atop his page dangling it like a carrot to whoever paid him to become one of the new Defenders of the Narrative™.

Wonder what happened before and after this 8 second look into President Trump's evening?

He walked up a flight of steps. Now, I'm a big dude myself, considerably younger than the President. I also ride a mountain bike almost daily and do a lot of hiking, so I think it is safe to say I exercise more than POTUS does... and God help you if you attempt to have a conversation with me after I scale a flight of stairs. There is a 30 second period in there, after cresting the obstacle, where you physically fight to shorten and quiet your own breath so those around you don't fear that you're fighting for your own life. Faces are made, teeth are exposed, nostrils flare... I watch this whole video and, honestly, that is what I see. I see a man who conquered the obstacle and is now locked in the struggle between realizing the most difficult challenge of the day has been met head on and exposing to the world just how goddamn diabolical stairs are. I mean, really, we're here in 2020 and still physically scaling steps like we're a bunch of goddamn Victorian era savages who were forced into using their bodies as a slave to their own vertical transportation needs.

But instead we see the interwebs turning it all into "OMG!!! Trump gasping for air!" Asshats!

If he's really in a bad way, based on what I've read from people who had Covid... He wouldn't even be standing. The fact that he can stand up and breathe at all shows that they're blowing this out of proportion.

Everyone knows I can be critical of the pres, but that's on a platform level.

I'm taking every story about his health with a huge grain of salt. Dude is in his 70's and rolling through this pretty quick (granted, I'm sure the pres gets some dope health care attention). I said a few days ago I had a feeling he'd be fine, and it would piss people off that he just shakes off COVID, the thing everyone want's to shut down the world for a year over.

I'm not voting for either of the two, but I'll still try to call them how I see them. I hate the constant and blatant spin everyone tries to force feed, and in this instance, there are many who would wish me to see their reality, not the real one.

Yeah WTF happened to Drudge?
He is a complete hysterical Lib now?
The entire clip shows he is not gasping for air at all at any point, he just takes a few deep breaths.

He was saluting the Marines in Marine 1 obviously.

When I am forced to weaf a mask I can only do it for about 15 mins, which makes grocery shopping impossible. When I get outside, I drop my mask and breaghe just like the President was and I did have the virus. Add to the mask the climbing of stairs, just another example where people jump to conclusions without actual facts, just what ghey feel they see.

Po ... and stairs. And no matter where he is in the movies, stairs are always the same for him.

For a guy that has Covid, walked a ways from the copter, then up two flights of stairs, while wearing a mask that restricts his breathing.....I'd say he's doing frik'n great.

I attempted my first long shopping trip this weekend. Husband and son got all browsy, and I started to get light-headed and tingly fingered. I had to step outside and remove the mask. I gasped like a fish for a bit, and then everything was better.

And I have the devil's own time working out in them.

My SPO2 was 92%.

I took off my mask and it went up to 98%.

I went shopping yesterday with the damned thing on.. Someone actually mentioned to me that "Those masks are not allowed on planes". It took everything I had to say... "If the damn things are so bad, then why the hell can't I breathe through it without using every damn bit of my lungs just to pull air through the mask!?"

That makes you wanna punch someone in the face... Well... It made me want to punch someone in the face. Maybe I've been cooped up too long

I don't give 2 $#!&s what masks are allowed on a plane or not... People are walking into this store with no mask.. WTF do you even care what my mask is capable of...


If it's not one thing, it's another. Someone will always find a reason to put it to the next person. I'd like to walk around the city with a 3ft long 2x4 of Mind Your Own Damn Business!

Wow, that's more of a considerable difference than I would've thought.

Wow sounds like a bunch of you suffer from asthma or something. If you are getting light headed from wearing a mask for *gasp* all of 15 minutes you might want to see a doctor about that. Speaking of doctors, good thing none of you are surgeons. Wouldn't want you passing out 15 minutes into a 10 hour surgery.
