Funny... The owner of the company I work for always does this in certain situations to show his appreciation. For example, back in August when Hurricane Laura was still a Cat 1 when it hit us up here in NW Louisiana. He bought pizza for those of us who came in and didn't stay home because of the inclement weather. He'll also do this for those who volunteer to work on holidays, along with a little bonus money. Just things an appreciative person does. Maybe things are different in Canada.
