I think everything will be fine soon. We should have a vaccine in the very near future.

Maybe we should send a gift over to China and repay the favor

No, we need to send a gift to every official in the US who shut down society and peddled skewed and misleading and false information.

I would honestly say its a hoax of some kind. Not the disease itself, as its obviously real. But the losing of minds, and complete shut down of economies...

Sweden seems to have done pretty well.

And if you look at states allowing high school football to continue vs states who aren't, you can easily see the battle lines that have been drawn.

I guess all im saying is, one party decided to make political hay out of this.

The nuance is going over his head...

The virus isn't a hoax... the reaction to it is the hoax.

It is mass hysteria.

We will be more able to determine how hysterical it is; when trump is released from Walter Reed.

a rather morose, and partisan, litmus test. But ok.

The POTUS isn't like an ordinary person.

Everyone is tested before they meet with him and I'm sure his office is cleaned like crazy.

What's the chance of an asymptomatic person giving a false negative only spreading it to Republicans - outside in an open environment?

Try this out.

The original article was published in the Swiss magazine Weltwoche (World Week) on June 10th. The author, Beda M Stadler is the former director of the Institute for Immunology at the University of Bern, a biologist and professor emeritus. Stadler is an important medical professional in Switzerland, he also likes to use provoking language, which should not deter you from the extremely important points he makes.

The problem with our current testing is that it cannot detect an active disease process from an inactive one. If you have mere fragments of virus it will detect those and give you a positive result just like if you were fighting the full-blown illness.

Viral fragments aren't making you sick though, nor can they go on to infect everyone else. Viral fragments are what are left over when your own immune system has done its job and destroyed the virus before it's made you ill or after you've beaten the active illness and you're shedding. You can shed particles of virus and test positive for up to 90 days after your active disease process is done. The test cannot tell you whether or not you're actually ill.

Trump and his administration are in on the covid hoax.

They just have a mild cold. Trump wasn't hospitalized, he was on a secret mission which is all part of the plan" (did that thing go away?)

It really wasn't an attack unless you consider the Rose Garden Massacre an attack. It looked to me like a crowd that didn't want to follow any reasonable C19 protocols. Even Fox calls it a super spreader event.

WH staffers feel betrayed. The West Wing is essentially shut down and staff sent home.

Thank you for that Ket. Your summation was concise and concerning and pushed me on in to the article you offered. I read a bit of it, but let most of it go as i found that most of the procedures and language are well beyond my ken.

But the gist, as I understand it is that the tests are of little to no value in determining ones true status in regards this virus.

If this is the case, why has Trump stated that he is being tested every day. Some times several times a day. Is he getting another test then the one that everyone else is getting? Why is there strong indication that there is a ''pod'' of people, all centering around Trump and his recent gatherings that are demonstrating ''positive'' when given this test?
