No, you're really not. What you're saying is that you are placing your own personal political ideology above the best medical advice out there. Politics over science and common sense in other words. Sheesh.
Tell me, Trump scorned facemasks as well. Where is he now again?
Trump never scorned face masks, what he scorns is the virtue signaling the left has turned it all into.
For the most part, the only people trying to twist it into virtue signalling is the "refuse to wear one" mask crowd..they can all bite me.
I DONT WEAR THE DAMN THING IN THE STORE, OR AT WORK TO IMPRESS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!

I'm just going to be blunt here -- if the pro-maskers had just kept their opinions to themselves, the rest of us anti-maskers wouldn't be responding still with such copious disdain. From my point of view, forcing something by way of stomping all over someone else's right to make a choice IS virtue signalling. If you (general You, not specific You) truly do not give a # about how YOU are perceived and do not like being hassled for your choice, then grant us the same right to not be hassled for ours. We don't care what YOU think either.
If it was really no skin off your nose, you'd have no reason to finger-waggle. Since the pro-maskers keep doing just that, I'm liable to believe it's simply virtue signalling, and of a very pathetic degree.

But is there a study out there that shows health/hospital workers avoiding viruses when they use mask ?
It's amazing that those who wear a mask the most, like doctors, nurses and mask Nazi's still get COVID.
Kenzo why you have to tell the truth? It completely destroys their narrative!
It's also amazing that some people that wear seat belts still die in car crashes. So using some more pre-school grade math, seat belts don't save lives. Way to destroy the narrative.

Yeah, read it just fine. And rolled my eyes along with ya on it. I think Cars was trying to provoke a similar discussion opposite to the claims that anti-maskers are Grandma Killers, but it simply didn't work well -- not enough objective compartmentalization between personal feelings, and irony & sarcasm.
I could be wrong, though, and he might actually buy into it. Hell if I know.
Now the only reason Trump got the virus was because he pushes back on the virtue signaling aspects of mask wearing...lol

The basis of my faith is Christianity. I care for the well-being of others even if it means being a little uncomfortable. Less droplets less risk to others.... pretty simple choice for me to show compassion for fellow humans. No allegiance to Chicoms here.
