When my dad had covid-19, he never had any problems with his lungs or breathing. After more than two weeks and he still had fever and aches, his doctor put him on a steroid and an antibiotic. He wasn’t seriously ill and he didn’t have any lung problems- yet he was prescribed those two things. As for supplemental oxygen, it’s given for all kinds of things and doesn’t necessarily indicate anything serious at all. Also, I think it’s safe to assume that they are being/would be aggressively proactive with how they are treating the President’s health. Your reasons for believing he is seriously ill or more ill than is being reported, do not at all have to mean he is really ill.

That's the problem - from what I've read about COVID-19 the crisis doesn't come until about Day 8 or so, after which people either get better - or get far worse. The lack of decent confirmed news is concerning. The Doctors are being very positive whilst using somewhat ambiguous wordings. Trump's oxygen count in his blood dipped twice on either Friday or Saturday and we know now that he's on dexamethasone. That's a steroid and it's not given out lightly. So, if they're saying that he's going to go back to the White House today but also giving him some serious drugs that says two possibly contradictory things.

Doctors added one more drug, dexamethasone . For my understanding dexamethasone is not used in mild/medium cases but in more severe cases .
