See, this is what you get when an uneducated person, who has never left their own country, has a has a stereo typical view of other countries.
You don’t hear about many pangolin or bat eaters in the Western world, though I suppose it must go on to some extent in Chinese overseas communities.

This like many modern illnesses that plague us was not caused by China fundamentally it is a zoonotic illness. Which means it was created by handling animals. Why not blame meat eaters that would be more honest. Zoonotic disease has been released by western nations too you know? Should we punish them too or just the meat eaters and the Chinese.
You left off:
High fructose corn syrup
S***-Fil-A
Mountain Dew
Adrenochrome-filled children
Rochester garbage plate

Americans eat some weird stuff, but we never talk about that.
Possum
Squirrel
Shark
Snake
Racoon
etc...

I do agree that Western-style factory farms make it easier for viruses to jump from animals to humans. But a Chinese wet market holding wild animals in filthy, cruel conditions appears responsible for the current global catastrophe.
I’m unaware of viruses from seafood infecting humans. As far as I know — and I’m certainly no expert — it’s always pigs, poultry or wild animals.

and a fish market in the western world is not a wet market. ?
That’s not weird, that’s simply carbon transfer. What’s weird is what Augustus posted. Now, China eats weirds things, hence wet markets.
