Well, it's a bit of an Afrikaans interview (he also speaks German).

But this is years and years of experience in Africa.

And, where should we start.

And sporting the insignia of the Military Intelligence Corps.

A bit late for them to take interest IMO.

Cheers

Chris Wyatt is actually brilliant.

He knows what he's talking about.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean in my opening post that the interview, or indeed the YouTube channels of Willem Petzer or Chris Wyatt are bilingual and not accessible to English speakers.
It's 99 percent in English (from what I've seen).
It's just the odd phrase or word that's "foreign" (and then it usually comes with an explanation with the English-user in mind).

I was just so excited at first, to stumble across an American who can speak our languages (although Afrikaans is only Wyatt's fifth, apparently).

There's huge events in South Africa been happening this week.
It actually deserves its own thread.
But am I still sober enough, or awake enough to do it justice?
Let's just say the "farmers" had their "Stonewall" moment.

And of course the fake Marxist media (ENCA, NEWS24) said they (the mainly white protestors) were all armed to the teeth, when they weren't armed at all. The description of the media is my parlance and not connected to Col. Wyatt.

But let's start at the very beginning of the latest SA drama:

The retired Col. and his take on the "Lady-R" Russia-gate.

Did the so-called neutral ANC in South Africa sell arms to Russia?

Oh gee, within a week of Russia's invasion of the Ukraine , the Russians openly thanked South Africa for their support.

But now it's global news story:

And the question is now, what about US-SA relations?

Joke: So now the question is, how many arrows and spears did South Africa sell to Russia?

Oh this is so funny.
Let's have an inquiry.
Everyone knows what's going down.

I have a very queasy feeling in my tummy.

The deluded and useless ANC government in South Africa, did something to make the Americans very angry.

And this is their friendly, liberal face.
Which won't always be there.

The US Ambassador - uh-oh:

And then their ANC arse-kissers in the local press made it even worse by falsely claiming the US ambassador apologized!

Amongst the things we noted ... like blah blah blah.

Phew, it was not a little hippy living in Cape Town.

The latest news and analysis from Chris Wyatt regarding the "African" peace mission to Ukraine and Russia (of course with the focus on President Ramaphosa's SA delegation).

An event going since earlier this week, and of course there's been some "complications" ...

Just catching up myself.
