Since you are so well read you must understand the viral load issue and how it can impact the severity of your condition once you catch covid.

Any thoughts on how someone that just contracted the virus, unbeknownst to them, would be impacted rebreathing their infected breath while wearing a mask?

Our body expels (sheds) the virus through spit and mucus for a reason. What do you suppose that reason is?

I dealt with this wtih my own millenial. He was gifted in math and science, but wanted a degree in journalism. So he majored in journalism and minored in English. I told him the only job he would be able to get with that is as a teacher, and encouraged him to build a blog to start producing writing content for a portfolio. He did not do that. Today he is a teacher, after spending 2 years with a degree and working in a bookstore, he finally gave in and took a job as a teacher.

Next year he moves into administration, because he's a damned good teacher it turns out. And they want him training other teachers and helping form curriculum (he doesn't the "bad kids"/behavioral classes). But the point here is that he eschewed a talent to major in a romantic notion. The school was happy to lend him money to do this, which is another issue altogether.

Teacher pay is crap, Administration pay is very good. My one son is an EE third year, my other is still 12th grade, but will go into a STEM degree. A good friend of mine his son was all 100% scholarship, super smart... Majored in English and Journalism top honors....After working at two different magazines for about 10 years total making basically min wage he gave up and today at about 35 he processes VA claims.

Where I work you need a clearance so those jobs can not go overseas and my lowest paid person on my team makes 85k teaching technical stuff. Jobs are lacking and 8 years of Obama didn't do anything, and so 4 more years of Biden will be the same. The left just does not understand what it takes to be a living wage job.

The job I do (accounting) is something that could easily be replaced with code. Hell, i've almost replaced myself with code. Others doing the work I do spend a day doing what I do in 2 hours. The rest of my day is meddling in operations (we dont have anyone in charge, so im in charge since I don't have my head too far up my ass). Of course, where i work is not typical in any way.

Hospitality will never go overseas. They will just continue to refine process until fewer and fewer folks are needed.

But i can start/build restaurants and hotels. Not many folks willing to volunteer for that kind of punishment.
