The problem here is that both sides think that the other side is going to attack them.

So you've got two populations each building their own barricades, and nobody planning to storm them.

What we have is a few mobs of liberals rioting because they either like rioting or because they have undirected anger and are destroying their own communities.

This isn't a civil war, it's civil unrest. There's a big difference.

It seems that the truth doesn't matter for most people on both sides, just what they have been told to believe.

Both sides are told the other side is going to start something. The gullible gobble this up and believe it. I think most people just want to be ready to survive no matter which side starts something and they hope nothing is started.

No my bad far and right were a word apart. I misread. I thought you were calling me far right and I was saying I don’t consider myself far right. Those guys are more hung up on race and religion. I actually consider myself just right of center.
For example I think the war on drugs is futile and irrelevant in a free society. I also don’t understand why prostitution is illegal, though I must admit I’m glad it is.
And I know the difference between slander and libel and I wasn’t concerned about myself-I just didn’t want the far right blamed for the opinions of someone who doesn’t agree with them.

Incorrect. The civil war is coming because the democrats are making our elections illegitimate. It's not fear of the other side starting it. It's the completely rational realization that once the elections are a fraud, the country is lost. The only way back is civil war. If the fraud is allowed there will be a civil war. I have high hopes that SCOTUS will save our bacon. But it is the most important issue and it should be important to everyone. We have to trust our elections. Without that, whether you are pro-life or pro-choice is meaningless. Whether you believe in the socialist nanny state or full on libertarianism, doesn't matter.

Strangely enough, those of you who think you can sit out a civil war or revolution and let the knaves and rascals have at themselves are quite mistaken. The first to die in such societal breakdowns are those who want no part of it, you're easy targets, and you have resources one or the other side might want. So no...no one sits out internal strife, it affects everyone.

The only choice you'll have is to pick a side, and hope you pick the victors, and of course...survive with family intact.

If there is a civil war how will you know who the bad guys are?

Are if we are wearing different colors? Or will everyone be in Camo? MAGA hats and BLM shirts? I guess I don't see how this is going to work very well...

The democrats changed the election rules and laws. I agree they caused this part of the problem. I don't see them agreeing to a SCOTUS decsion ether.

Well, from what has been happening for the past few months, collateral damage on your people and property doesn't matter to some.

I am sure they are working on an app for that. Point your phone at someone to identify what side they voted for. If an enemy voters phone is in the area, your phone will alarm to warn you.

Sadly, the situation we find ourselves in is such that we are at the mercy of the restraint of the party who has corrupted our elections. Will they accept when the ballots they've corrupted are thrown out? I have hope but not much faith.

We have a narrow path to avoid civil war. The SCOTUS has to throw out all of the ballots that are possibly fraudulent mail in ballots (ie, they are received after election day). This may or may not exclude absentee ballots, as they are solicited ballots by the voter and much less prone to fraud. The democrats have to accept that. Ballots that are 'harvested' must be thrown out. Biden may still win in this scenario. The right has to accept that. But likely Trump will win in this scenario, which again leaves us at the mercy of the left accepting that.

The wildcard is if trump wins both. If he wins the fraud battle (maybe he gets people to do what needs to be done to out cheat the dems) does the left accept that? The right would claim that trump would have won a non-fraud election by bigger margins and would therefore feel more justified in accepting such a result, even as fraud. But what would the left do? Would they start a civil war? I mean, they're the ones that pushed for all of this fraud and they lost at their own game?

Regardless, if we somehow escape without a civil war, we absolutely must secure our elections. It's a joke how poorly done our elections are.
