You think people should give hugs and kisses to assholes?

Apparently the left does because this is how they treat anyone who doesn't think exactly like them and it has been this way for a long, long time.

You know what? Trump's a jerk. I admit it. I also admit that part of the reason I voted for him is because he treats those of you on the left exactly like you treat us.

Everyone is on the left to Trumptards if they do not kiss his ass.

You can be a Conservative and check off every box from pro guns, to against Antifa, to supporting the Constitution.
You could check off 1000 check marks that are pro conservative but if you do not check off the Trump worship check box, you get tossed into the other camp.
That is what you call a koolaid drinking Jim Jones cult.
I dont subscribe to either party because they are full of criminals and shysters.

Also if one of his followers try and hold his feet to the fire to uphold his promises, Trump and his cult followers attack that person for daring to question Trump.

As I said in the previous post, Trump insults everyone including those on his "side".

How come Trump did not request going to a private hospital instead of a socialist government run hospital since he is against it???????

Ya, heres the thing, I believe Trump was in favour of universal health care..not too long before running.

Did the lobbyists get to Trump?
I hear they have increased by 2x under Trump.

Before we ever have healthcare reform, we first need to toss the lobbyists into a volcano or nothing will be accomplished.
Everytime a policy comes out that is beneficial to the American people, the industries send their lobbyists and lawyers to wreck it.

I fully agree, not going to be easy, they hold too much power.

Contact tracing has the COVID back to Cleveland and the debate *before* Trump was onsite.

So this was the Cleveland Clinic's dropped ball. They say everyone there had to have a negative test, but either the tests were not done properly or someone came down symptomatic after that test was administered.

It was deliberate.

An assassination attempt.

Considering no one on the Democrat side got it? It does seem a bit suspicious doesn't it?

If what the Cleveland Clinic says is true, then how would 11 cases suddenly break out without some help from a deliberate contamination?

They wear masks and practise social distancing.

I posted the link.

Contact tracing has traced this to the debate setup stage before the president was ever there. The disease was already on-site. Cleveland Clinic was responsible for handling the testing of every single person on-site. All of them had to have a negative test.

Either someone botched the testing or someone who tested negative suddenly went positive in a few hours' time or someone was passing around contaminated stuff on purpose.

Also masks don't keep you from getting sick if someone around you has it. They *may* help keep a symptomatic person from spreading it as easily, but that's it. So mask or not, the president and his staffers weren't going to be protected from someone with the disease by wearing their own masks.

Possible someone intentionally contaminated the President's podium...prior to the debate.

Or in the water. You would think it would be bottled, but how hard would it be to tamper with that?

The Secret Service will find the SOB that tried to kill our President.

That would be your president

I'm not rich. I'm not racist. I'm not stupid.

But I'm also not insane enough to vote for Biden, just like I couldn't support Hillary either. I know the policies they endorse mean more taxes and less freedom of choice in a lot of ways for myself and my family.

I likewise cannot support choices likely to only weaken the strongest opposition to those candidates making it more likely they get elected by default even if I don't directly vote for them.

200,000+ died of CoVid under his watch. USA has by far handled the Covid worst of all countries in the world.
And you wonder why people are celebrating?
It's wrong but I understand the reaction.

Why do people blame Trump for a virus spreading? Can he just snap his fingers and cure people? Can he wish the virus away? China didn't tell the WORLD until it was already too late. People had already left the country and flown to every continent. There was no stopping it no matter who was leading...PERIOD. What you're saying is tantamount to blaming Reagan for the spread of AIDS or Eisenhower for Polio...its stupid.
On top of all that, the POTUS stopped ALL travel from China and Europe and you tools claimed he was racist for it. Your ilk wants open fricken borders...welp...this is the crap that happens because of it.
There was literally NOTHING one human being could've done to stop the spread.
And one more thing. Stop comparing OUR country to every other one when it comes to which did better at containment. We have 400 MILLION people here. No other European country even comes close. No 3 or 4 combined come close. Its a whole different ball game here. It is IMPOSSIBLE to shut this country down completely. People need food. Garbage needs to be collected...and so on. Were YOU prepared with enough food in your moms basement to not leave your house for a month or more? Yeah, neither were hundreds of millions of other people.

People like you are the exact problem. Im sorry, but you are just stupid and disingenuous. Everyone that thinks like you should be put on a boat and shipped elsewhere because you blame one person for not supernaturally saving mankind from an act of GOD. How utterly insane.

Please respond so you can continue proving just how stupid you and your kind really are.

Oh please! These are the same people that suddenly decided that a cheap, easily available malaria drug that has been taken for several different uses by hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people, all around the globe for decades suddenly become the most horrible thing since thalidomide because the president talked about its possibly properties as a part of an early therapy for COVID.

If he had backed this new drug he received a dosage of, they'd be yelling that he was endorsing dangerous and unproven experimental therapies, but instead the whack-jobs are out there whining because the 200,000 didn't have access to Walter Reed and experimental drugs.

Nothing the president says or does will ever make them happy.

Look at what is happening with Melania. The people who think celebrating Christmas is white oppressive and not inclusive, so they have demanded we must all say Happy Holidays are now offended on behalf of Christmas.

If those same people get their way, there will be no Christmas to celebrate. There are already plenty of claims that the vaccine (the only hope to end the lockdowns, donchaknow?) will not be "widely available" until mid-spring 2021.

Those who celebrate Christmas will do so alone, dammit! Keep your religious mumbo-jumbo out of anyone else's ears! Mumble your infidel "Merry Christmas"es through your face masks, you heathen!

I'm waiting for the January bailouts of the big box stores because "people didn't spend enough money while sitting alone during Christmas." "There's not enough consumin' goin' on out there!"

The emotional ranting of the triggered trump cult.

"Emotionally triggered" or not, he does raise a valid question. Why do you blame the man who implemented a travel ban from the originating country early on before there was a pandemic instead of the originating country which did nothing to stop the spread?

It would seem to be a simple question to answer...

Your government is guilty of a poor initial response to the virus. So is mine.

Boris foots that blame here, surely your leader should be responsible too?

If I remember correctly Wuhan was quarantined. I also remember your president saying this is a nothing burger and will disappear along with my fries and diet coke.

Yeah I added the last bit but the rest is true. People do listen to leaders. Trump supporters have been very very vocal about the China virus.

Saying China did nothing and insinuating Trump did enough is disingenuous.

Your memory is faulty.

China did quarantine Wuhan, but only domestically. Flights from Wuhan to other areas of China were cancelled, but flights from Wuhan to other countries were in full operation. Trump implemented a travel ban from Wuhan to the US on January 31, long before the WHO or China would even admit that virus could be spread from human-human contact.

Did Trump downplay the danger at the time? Probably. Would any other world leader who cared about his people and was seeing what we now know he was seeing have done the same? Probably. Remember that at that time, Joe Biden was calling the travel ban "hysterically xenophobic," Nancy Pelosi was doing photo ops in Chinatown in California encouraging her supporters to come mingle without social distancing or face masks, Andrew Cuomo was saying that New York was essentially immune "because they're New Yorkers," Bill DeBlasio was encouraging New Yorkers to get out and enjoy the fine dining and crowded attractions in New York, and Dr. Anthony Fauci was saying there was absolutely no cause for alarm.

About half the New York/New Jersey deaths came about because Cuomo forced nursing homes to take infected patients, then refused to help them with PPE to protect the others there. Take those murdered seniors out of the numbers and our results have been pretty similar to other countries.

People do listen to leaders. Trump supporters have been very very vocal about the China virus.

I have, and I will continue to be vocal about the insane "solutions" that do not work. I have proven the lockdowns are ineffective using the CDC's own numbers several times on here already. I have expressed the same doubts about the face masks that medical experts have stated. I have agreed with some of the proposed recommendations, like hand-washing, isolation as much as possible for the high-risk, and attempts to not touch one's face. I strongly support someone who is ill taking some measures to self-isolate as much as practical. We have been doing that for the past 200 years at least, with pretty good results at containing spread of disease... but we have lately forgotten how to do such simple things, apparently.

That's not because Donald Trump said something. That's because I actually looked at and analyzed the science as it became available. It appears looking at and understanding science is completely opposite from "listening to the science."

Saying China did nothing and insinuating Trump did enough is disingenuous.

Saying China did nothing to stop this disease from expanding past their borders is accurate. Saying Trump didn't do "enough" might be accurate in hindsight, but it is also at best ignorant and at worst partisan tomfoolery.

Saying that anyone deserves to be hospitalized with a disease that one also claims is deadly? That's neither ignorant nor tomfoolery... that, sir, is unbridled hatred.

Yeah.

Their seems to be a lot of blanket statements and stereotyping going around. I don't say things on the net that I wouldn't stand by. I'm humble enough to admit mistakes.

I rarely wish ill on people, there's not a being alive I hate.

As for the rest. Politicians and leaders like attention, to feel important. When it comes to leadership most are found wanting. I wished Boris well when he was on death's door and I hope Trump doesn't get to that point.

Ask me what the reality is within regards to this virus and I'll say most people have failed. People spread it. Leadership failed. It's still failing 😞 on either side of the pond.

I said at the start we should isolate the vulnerable (like we're attempting to do with all) and work from their. Statistically it would've been easier to say 20-30% of our nation's are already ill.

As for China?

I've been extremely vocal here about how we shouldn't even be working with them. Travelling to China should have the same restrictions as any other non warzone nation that abuses human rights.

An honorable statement.

Neither did I wish Boris Johnson ill when he was in the hospital. To be honest, I know little about him... there are enough problems with American politics to keep me well-satisfied, thank you very much. I figure you guys can handle how to run your country without my big nose butting in where it doesn't belong.

Ask me what the reality is within regards to this virus and I'll say most people have failed. People spread it. Leadership failed.

I suppose if one defined success as not spreading the virus, then yes, all have failed. I don't define success that way. This virus is so contagious, there is no way to keep it from spreading and still maintain any semblance of a society. The truth is that Trump was going to get it sooner or later. I'm pretty sure I have already had it... symptoms and severity were about right: high fever once day, then a continuation of a low-grade fever that I had already broken... that is unheard of for me. Cough? I have sinus issues anyway, so I wouldn't know if it caused a cough or not. Fatigue? Ha! Any more fatigued and I wouldn't have enough energy to type as it is! That's like spraying water on someone who is drowning.

You have a better than 50/50 chance of getting it as well. That's just a fact. Luckily, it is not as deadly as it could be; the vast majority who get it will survive just fine.

I said at the start we should isolate the vulnerable (like we're attempting to do with all) and work from their.

This is wisdom.

Most of the vulnerable already need assistance getting around day to day. They already have a caretaker. So it would be easier to have those caretakers exercise extreme caution and isolate the vulnerable otherwise than to try and isolate all of society. Eventually the virus will penetrate even those defenses, but the idea is that by the time it does there will be effective treatments available.

I was my mother's caretaker for many years. Were she still alive, I would be paranoid about this virus around her. I hold no one in contempt for being paranoid in a similar situation. However, it has done no good to close down all of society. The only thing that has accomplished is to place more people at risk for everything from pre-existing conditions that could not be treated by law to suicides from social isolation, to an increase in domestic and child abuse, to academically stunting our already under-educated youth. None of those are positives. As I have said before, more people will die from COVID-19 who never contract it than who do.

I've been extremely vocal here about how we shouldn't even be working with them. Travelling to China should have the same restrictions as any other non warzone nation that abuses human rights.

Agreed, but if it were only that simple!

At one time, we could have broken off trade with China easily. Today, not so much. China has cornered the market on many of the things we depend on. Rare earth metals, necessary for semiconductor technology, are only one example. They also produce many alloys exclusively and pretty much have the pharmaceutical market cornered so far as affordable generic drugs are concerned. The project I am working on now requires laboratory grade pure iron... that has to come from China. Even though it is made in small quantities in the West, the price is literally orders of magnitude more. I could not begin to assemble the apparatus for my project using Western materials, but using Chinese materials? No problem.

At least under Trump we are finally moving in the right direction with regards to China. I have no real issue trading with them as long as the trading is fair. It has not been fair, and has consistently worsened throughout the last several decades.

Trump makes it very easy to hate him.
He not only insults those on the left, but also insults the very people he put on his team.
He insults his own fans if they have a difference of opinion. He insults people on the news and in the media that never even addressed him.

You think people should give hugs and kisses to assholes?

Take a blank sheet of paper.
Start writing down anyone Trump has talked to and has not insulted them.

The paper will be blank.

Trump insults people who insult him first...He also attacks those that he is in competition with, but outside of that he is actually a nice person around others. I know that doesn't meet his narrative, too bad...

Meanwhile, Trump could be released from the hospital tomorrow.

“Today he feels well. He’s been up and around,” said Dr. Brian Garibaldi of Walter Reed Medical Center. “If he continues to look and feel as well as he does today our hope is that we can plan for a discharge as early as tomorrow.”

This is the first announcement of a potential release date.
