Yeah, I get that....but other people were linking corporatism with communism.....I was just trying to point out the absurdity of that.

Sorry, just got to jump in and say this; how anyone can align the interests, intentions and agendas of 'major corporations' and the people who run and control these institutions with 'communism' is quite frankly beyond me and shows a complete lack of understanding of the ideologies that influence both.

But communism is about state control of everything, corporations are privately owned by a priviliged few and are free from government/state control. Private ownership is not allowed under communism.
Many would argue that corporations have an undue influence over governments/states.
They are diametrically opposed.

Get enough people owning stock and the workers own the means of production, but they don't run it. Just like the state in communism.

I witnessed first hand what happens when people have small amounts of stocks and shares etc.....they all ended up in the hands of major corporations - mainly French and German - and as a result almost every single utility in the UK is now privately owned.....by a privileged few.
Very small investors are only interested in very small profits and will cash out very early.
You know, one time I told a fellow employee that George Soros was not such a nice person and that at age 14 he had confiscated wealth of the Jews in Hungary for the Nazis, and as an adult billionaire he says outright in an interview he had no remorse whatever. This employee then said to me oh but look what he does he gives so much money away. And do you know, that is what all these wealthy elites do, they give massive amounts of money to charitable orgs and NGOs and special interest groups so they are perceived as nice and good. Clearly Soros Hates America and American conservatives and what we stand for (Liberty and our Representative government and small government).

Funny. Dick Costolo has a net worth of about $300 million dollars.
But but but...he is so virtuous?
I'm not really clear yet on what makes him think he
is a good person. Just months ago we hear about
"if we can save one life". Now its gone to "firing squads"
for business owners that vote for trump.
The left is a bunch of carcasses.
Thats just socialism. State run is not better than private run.

Nationalisation is a dirty word nowadays.
Personally I'd re-nationalise every single one of our utilities along with rail services - maybe all public transport - andmaybe even The Royal Mail.
But, and its a massive big #ing BUT, I'd make sure they were run exactly the same as efficient modern day private companies yet with transparency and public oversight.
I won't be holding my breath though as I can't see it happening any time soon.
