Look, I'm not trying to whataboutism this, but my God... every presidency has had some group that has made the stupid argument that a president's actions weaken our position in the world. With Obama it was the world apology tour and bow-fest at the feet of foreign leaders, with Bush 2 it was the warmongering in the Middle East, with Clinton it was the man's propensity to discuss sensitive federal business over the phone while his whores were servicing him, etc. Sorry, but it's all bullcrap, including from you here.

The counter to that is we were still paying in more than we took out prior to the increase. We are a net contributor, 37 or so other states, not so much.

The counter to that is that it is actually your own people who are doing the mooching. Let's face it; "Let's move to New Jersey to retire" said no one, ever. A soon as people retire there, they start looking for somewhere else to go. They get there, and start "mooching" as you like to put it... we call it "getting back what we put in."

I'll be clear: we know cult45 think he won. We know you think that was a strong showing, and good debating.
