A yank here, new to football. Fell in love with The Irons last year...West Ham United until I die.

Any fans here? A lot for me to learn about the club and the sport.

Forever blowing bubbles...

Yes.

West Ham fan since 1980 when they won the F.A Cup by beating the mighty Arsenal 1-0 with a goal scored by Sir Trevor Brooking with his head. At the time West Ham were in Division 2 so were the outsiders by a long way. Unfortunately we havn't won anything since, although came close in 2006 final against liverpool which again we should of won but let them back into the game which they ended up winning 4-3.

Very good win yesterday against Wolves... smashed em.

Got some good mates who are Hammers fans and had some good times in The Boleyn back in the day before kick-off.

Can't help but have a soft spot for them - I have a natural dislike for London clubs, especially Arsenal - with me being a big Cock Sparrer and Cockney Rejects fan.

I think they made a big mistake moving away from Upton Park.

Spirit of 69.

A personal favourite of mine.

Legends.

Met Monty Neysmith a few times, a true Gentleman.

Hammers fans from across the pond.

Could post literally hundreds of songs related to this and could talk for hours about it.

Yeah, the move away from Upton Park has cost them. Maybe in a few years when Seb Coe realises that the Olympic Park should no longer be an Athletics stadium, the owners can bring the fans closer to the pitch by taking the running track out, then it could become an upton park again.

Just to reiterate....a yank who is just learning.

The pitch? Is that what I would call the field?

Saw Nysmith once. Never met.

As a traditional skin, I am jealous.

Pm me, I will listen and talk for hours about it.

At least with this op, I am meeting new sisters and brothers.

If I knew how to link, I would throw some 4-Skins and Discharger into the mix.

Half of ATS won't know what the title means. It needs illustrating.

That's what we have instead of cheerleaders.

Incidentally, I din't know that people had started calling them Irons.
Whenever I've heard about them in the past, they were always the Hammers.

Aussie Hammers fan here!
Come on you Irons!!!!!

What a win over the Wolves, Jarrod Bowen continually impressive along with Soucek. Would love to see more consistency from Yarmolenko and Haller.

We used to be called Thames Ironworks Football club in the early days and as the name suggests was manned by iron workers.
