That’s not what some people are doing though. They’re saying “This works!”, not “Hey! This worked for me. Maybe it’ll work for someone else. I’m not a doctor though”

Just look at the “baking soda cures cancer” crowd. Lots of BS and anecdotal (at best) evidence.

I could counter that argument pretty easily.

Actual doctors will tell you "hey! this works!" and then you, after rounds of chemo and radiation and the side effects of that and then surgeries for mass removal and a horrible quality of life, will die of cancer.

And then they will shrug their shoulders and say "well, it was cancer. So if you died it isn't our fault."

Take Sarcoma surgeons.

Their business model is actually pretty ingenious.

They will tell you "Here is what is going to happen now. I will operate on you and remove your tumors as they pop up. We will do that until the tumors grow in a spot where we cannot operate on them and then we will send you home to get your affairs in order and make you comfortable."

Their only actual care is that you live through the surgery.

I am quoting my wife's Sarcoma surgeon here.

They already know you are going to die, but they will profit IMMENSELY on carving you up until then.

What kind of Doctor is THAT?

So no... there are better ways to do it.

People just don't want to take the time to do it because they would have to change their lifestyle to do so.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, will correct your body's pH level othervthan your own biology.

Homeostasis mechanisms act to maintain pH regimes to specific tolerances. Put something in that disturbs that and they will kick in.

I mean radiotherapy.

You can lecture people all you like, but I know for a fact that a combination of chemo and radiotherapy got rid of my cancer.

Notice I did not say cure. No-one has a cure. No-one. You cut it out, you blast it with the most toxic things you can get your hands on and you hope that's good enough.

5 year monitoring is used because the numbers show that's a sensible term to use for monitoring. It does not mean you will never get cancer again if you get through that period. No-one claims that.

Also, don't assume the American model of health care is the only one around.

I did. It wasn’t even about the initial cancer. It was about secondary tumours. They’re unpredictable and have been known to shrink/fully disappear with no intervention.

If you're not washing them what are you attempting to prevent? Contamination? If you're trying to prevent that it would make them what, uncontaminated?

Stay away from Caesar dressing, soufflés and eggnog, it may give you cancer bugs.
