Well thats different her problem with Trump is how he treats Iran. So i can say nt really feeling the sympathy that Trump doesnt like a theocracy. She would have almost no rights in Iran but shes upset how Trump handles them? im having a tough time with this one to be honest i cant figure out what her parents taught her?????????

They obviously fled Iran or they wouldnt be here did they tell her they left because they were overun by unicorns and rainbows? Makes no sense

Making 4.5 billion dollars on a 720 million dollar budget over three movies isn't really a flop.

But who cares what colour cartoon characters are? Especially ones that don't even depict humans? Especially in a story that basically chronicles a writers pedophilia.

Your numbers are wrong.
The budget you posted doesn't include advertising which nearly doubles the budget or the millions spent on reshoots. so its probably closer to 1.5 billion spent to make the movies.

Then consider a studio gets about 60% of ticket sales domestic and 40% foreign.
Rise of Skywalker grossed a billion but Disney only received half of that.
The final film took in half the money of the first film. That's not a good sign especially when compared to the avengers movies.
$1.5
$1.4
$2.0
$2.7

Star Wars
$2.0
$1.4
$1.0

You can argue all you want but Disney cancelled all of the spinoff films for a reason and it wasn't because they were making to much money.

Get woke, go broke..
Disney is bound to figure it out eventually...
Or not.. They own marvel now and I'm sure they will screw that up too.

It´s not so good when subtracting the $4 billon that they payed for the Star Wars rights from Lucasarts.

They're putting out new Star Wars movies in '23, '25, and , '27, not to mention all the TV projects.

Star Wars: What We Know So Far About The Upcoming Taika Waititi’s Untitled Movie.

Untitled Kevin Feige Movie.

There's more besides these, you're kidding yourself if you don't think there's going to be more Star Wars films.

filmdaily.co...

They will obviously try more movies but they are very disappointed in the returns they have gotten lately. Solo was a complete flop.

From my second link:

At the time, McGregor said the scripts were written and the show would film in 2020. But when reports surfaced claiming that the series was being put on hold, McGregor set the record straight for ET: "The scripts are really, really good. They want to make them better," he said. "They just slid the production to shooting next year, so it's not as dramatic as it sounds... We're airing on the same day and all that."

Where did I say they were not going to make more movies?
What they are doing is circling the wagons and trying to figure out what the hell happened.

When the mandalorian is your best program you have some problems.. Cuz it's just meh...

I'm glad they canceled those.
Obi-Wan scares me.
I have Obi-Wan Kenobi phobia.

On hiatus.
Shelved.
Delayed over a year.

Sounds like the current production plans were canceled to me.
A reaction to their movies being so disapointing.

No one is visiting cinemas now because of COVID, so they might just be delayed until later, though. Or are these for Disney+ exclusively?
