Another convenient "error" by the CDC concerning the COVID19 airborne warning they put online last week.

Just when we all knew everything was getting better, some joker (most likely a Democrat) puts up a phony scare story on an official website !!

You would think these (over) educated experts would be more careful unless of course they're following orderz 😃

Notice how this masterpiece ABC article circle-jerks around the issue and deflects LOL 😆

When the CDC updated its website on Friday to acknowledge that airborne transmission of the coronavirus beyond six feet may play a role in the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly indoors, the update was hailed by infectious disease experts interviewed by ABC News as an overdue step.

But on Monday morning, the agency took down that language, saying it was posted in "error." Despite the CDC guidance whiplash, experts say it's time to recognize that airborne transmission beyond six feet is possible -- while continuing to emphasize that close contact within six feet is still the main way the virus is transmitted.

Scientists maintain that close, person-to-person contact is a main driver of the virus' spread. This transmission is primarily via respiratory droplets or small particles produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, sings, talks or breathes in close proximity to someone else.

After CDC whiplash, here's what science says about airborne transmission of the coronavirus

Some people want to fearmonger, I think they own stock in Insta-cart and Amazon and are trying to boost their portfolio value.

Funny how as soon as the CDC is required to run all their data through the White House before release the data starts matching what the White House wanted it to be.

I’m sure that’s all normal and above board though.

Nothing to worry about.

Oh boy. Now Karen will have to figure out from whom to take orders: ABC, CDC, or the other “experts” who are disagreeing with the gaslighting CDC. We’re gonna see some sad confused babies for a few days until MSNBC tells them about what they should be rabid now.

I gotta hat-tip the CDC for their high-quality gaslighting, though!

But you trust nothing coming out of the White House unless it's a White House controlled by the party you like. Amirite?

Well said!

The term "gaslighting" has been used colloquially since the 1960s to describe efforts to manipulate someone's perception of reality. The term has been used to describe such behaviour in psychoanalytic literature since the 1970s. "Gaslighting" describes an attempt to destroy another's perception of reality.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which a person or a group covertly sows seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or group, making them question their own memory, perception, or judgment, often evoking in them cognitive dissonance and other changes, including low self-esteem. Using denial, misdirection, contradiction, and misinformation, gaslighting involves attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim's beliefs. Instances can range from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents occurred, to belittling the victim's emotions and feelings, to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

And the worst part is, it isn’t going to change when Democrats or anyone else takes the White House. Everything this administration is given a pass on will be exploited by whoever is next.

The link you posted from The Conversation website describes the CDC thusly:
Led by physicians, scientists and epidemiologists, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the most reliable sources of knowledge during disease outbreaks.

A more accurate description would be:
Led by physicians, scientists and epidemiologists, who change their story every other day...

Yeah, sorry for asking but deal with it- I rarely watch or listen to the news. But I’m glad you felt the need to post your comment.

so in the end, it's still all about the masks.

Most people in my area are done with the mask, they all been exposed to COVID and no one is deathly sick or died from it.

The only thing that comes to mind in the context of covid, Dems, Repubs, White House, CDC, etc is FUBAR.

Generally I believe the truth is usually in the middle of all the shenanigans, but at this point, I really don’t know. I inherently do not trust the government. I just do what I can to stay healthy and even play along with the mask game, but all the rest I don’t even bother with anymore.

I’m curious of how this could have been done “by accident”. This is the exact stuff that as a taxpayer, I want to know exactly what the process was leading up to this. I highly doubt the scientists/doctors themselves are posting things directly onto their website and they surely have a company/web designer in place that takes care of this for them. Someone would have had to have told that person what to post and to post it.

More federal government bullsh*t. Surprise, surprise.
