Im one of those, kick me out if it's a problem, people. They are getting worse.

Remember when masks weren't required because it was only from droplets and not from breath? I do.

Until this thing is over, you wear a mask out of respect for other people as well as yourself.
They work, it is proven. If you won't wear one, then stay home.

Oh gosh sweetie, did someone scare you today and hurt your feelings for not wearing a mask? Are you afraid they breathed their dirty germy air all over? I’m sorry, sweetheart.

Having said that, do you REALLY think that this is a good road to go down? To be able to mandate what a person wears? Do you honestly think this won’t get abused by our crook leaders? Biden says he will make it a national mandate to wear a mask. Think about this, and think about it hard, because when they take freedoms away from us, we don’t get them back. And if you support this, down the road when it’s grown tentacles, you are partly to blame.

One more thing. You’re right- there are ways to get groceries and supplies without going into stores. So if you are afraid of people’s breathing, do that. Stay home. Get your groceries another way.

I suggest anyone totally afraid of peoples' breath adorn themselves with a heavy, thick burqa, and top it off with pro-fitted safety glasses over the eyes. It'll even reduce skin contact with outsider germs THAT much further. It's for the greater good, dontcha know?

HEY. Don’t give them any ideas, sister.

I'm waiting to see what brain dead buffoon actually supports it, and the line of BS they'd be willing to spin to justify it. You know someone lurking this thread is all for that, for "comprehensive barrier protection" or some equally repugnant forced mandates crap

What if a LGBTQ person refuses to wear a mask in a cake bakery that requires a mask? 😎

rights of other people like most conservatives

you don't have a right to not get sick, there is no human or civil right against catching the flu.

all states should make their own rules for THEIR citizens based on risk assessment

you sound like a dirty communist authoritarian if you ask me...here i fixed it for you:

all INDIVIDUALS should make their own rules for THEMSELVES based on THEIR PERSONAL risk assessment.

"but please big brother won't you please keep me safe, the world is scary"

Actually, there are laws that make it illegal to spread diseases. You can go to prison for doing something that kills someone else, it is classified as involuntary manslaughter if I remember right. These laws are active during pandemics and epidemics...study the laws, do not make things up.

You're so Kansas with your sarkasm lol i been watch'n you lately. They're
turning what might've been normal persons into germ a phobia sanitarians.
So pathetic.

All of a sudden the human is so nasty. This is what they're pushing on everybody.

Oh Gawd it's a human RUUUUUNN! lol. And people just want to be led. Doesn't
matter where just lead me i'm blind. Tuff sell in the heartland I know that.

I kid you not- on shi!ty next door app feed yesterday, a woman in my neighborhood (northern VA right outside of DC) made a thread complaining that she was at the lake and a person was vaping, and so in order for her to walk past him and his “disgusting habit” she had to walk extra so she wouldn’t be near his disgusting vape cloud.

I won’t comment on that, because what the thread turned into was a free-for-all Whine Festival for all of the deranged lemmings in the neighborhood, who all clambered on to say how much they hate it when joggers run past them without masks, breathing their “stale disgusting air.” It really was amazing. All of these women piling on how gross it was to be around runners for a half second OUTDOORS because they didn’t wear masks.

This thing has created a whole population of absolute freaks.

Masks aren't 100% but they do help.

There's no proof that they help. There's actually proof of the opposite.

A good example is the germophobes in Japan, or Asia in general, who are obsessed with masks as a cultural expectation STILL GOT SICK.

Did them a whole fat lot of good, and that doesn't help bolster the claims any. They're technically seasoned mask pros over there and still got bit in the ass like everyone else.

Did you just find the SJW self-destruct button??

Lol, it is a good question, though. Who's willing to bend the rules for who to accomplish their virtue signalling?

I'm protesting Mask , and my form of protest is to purposefully not wear a mask in businesses that requires a mask .

is this not my right ? I mean it's not like I'm burning down the building ...I'm just not wearing a mask .

That's not anywhere peaceful enough. You're just a heartless bastard trying to murder someone's grandma. The correct, peaceful way to protest is to scream in people's faces, assault them, then burn their # to the #ing ground. # yeah peace mother #er.

Actually, the only people that they hurt are people who already have the disease. They are actually a good way of lessening transmission of this disease. Although I am not afraid of this disease and I do believe it is not as bad as they are saying on CNN and other sites....my opinion based on reading piles of covid and immune system research....I do say that people should wear masks when at the stores.

Your assertion is wrong, you have been led to believe a lie if you say they do not help to stop the transmission of this disease, even the poorest fitting mask if it covers the mouth and nose cuts the transmission in half bare minimum. I am no fool, I do not want to get any people with a compromised immune system sick and I really do not want to even get a mild version of this disease, I hate colds and virus symptoms, the sore muscles and coughing suck, I cracked two ribs free from their cartilage in my back from coughing a few years ago and it sucked.

If they worked well enough to keep out viral particles, they'd work well enough on the PNW wildfire smoke too, but the CDC says they don't do anything for that.

Wildfire smoke particles are bigger than viral ones.

The mask is less of a barrier than your own elbow in a vampire cough would be.

Exactly firefighters have to wear mobile respirators .

There is no filtering out viruses or other toxins with a paper mask it's ridiculous , the only real way to protect your self from the toxins in our enviroment is to contain your self in full hazmat gear .

Most masks have a charge on them and that charge usually attracts viruses to stick to it. Yelling with a mask on won't stop anything though, in fact it will cause the stuck virus to blow off. I tend to look at stuff scientifically when analyzing things.

That's not a claim I've heard yet. If it's a static charge, that is easily dispersed through basic handling. If true, it's yet again another false sense of security.

Exactly

Businesses can decide who they serve

Unless they refuse to bake a cake

Or is that ‘cuck’?

(I don’t own a mask, have never had one on under any circumstances whatsoever, never been challenged or spoken to about it, and won’t be)

The main problems I have with a mask mandate from government are this:

It took people's sense of agency from them.

Businesses cannot choose. People cannot choose.

People who like to police everyone else feel empowered to be downright nasty.

People who have valid exemptions cannot safely/freely exercise them because of the above.

Government mandate increases a sense of fear of a thing we should not fear, rather respect.

Sense of fear empowers the people who like to police others.
