LA Deputies Shot in Apparent Ambush in Patrol Car

Authorities searched Sunday for a gunman who shot and critically wounded two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies who were sitting in their squad car — an apparent ambush that drew an angry response from the president.

The 31-year-old female deputy and 24-year-old male deputy underwent surgery Saturday evening, Sheriff Alex Villanueva said in a late-night news conference. Both graduated from the academy 14 months ago, he said.

My guess is it's a kid trying to get into a gang by shooting and killing the officers. Happens all the time but usually not to Cops. Don't know if this has been posted already.

Already posted. At least I was able to pull out some irritated sniveling about how my post was somehow not good enough.

Because of the corona virus they have basically let out all but the worst criminals out of prison. This is the results. We have to take care of precious criminals under Democratic rule in Los Angeles. If I didn't know better I would think the never Trumpers are doing this on purpose to try and win in November.

"LEO" in the U.S. have always wanted to be "wariors" and play "dress up" in "battle rattle". Putting themselves at the "we hold the line" level.

Now is the time for them to shine! Long gone, are the days of free coffee and donut at the local Wenchell's.

We should probably, all of us, get used to the "new normal".

Hope they find this M'Fer and put a bullet behind his ear. Because he "resisted arrest".
