Only in America free higher education is frowned upon for a first world country.

I think people look at the whole free college thing all wrong.
We already have free school for our children.
Twelve whole years of free education...
And what do they learn in those twelve years?
They learn that their free education isn’t enough and they will have to pay for four more years of education in order to get a job.

I have a bit of a passion on that subject.
I was told when I was 16, You HAVE to....the first thing I did was not listen.
To this very day, I am slim and trim and keep moving without a car.
I used to hear girls say " I won't date anyone who doesn't have a car" and then I would think....wait, YOU don't own a car.
I'll keep biking it....and yes that is my real bike.

There is a place for people whose primary motivator is a gauranteed paycheck: trade school.
College is supposed to primarily be a place to improve one's mind by following one's own intellectual curiosity, developing habits of mind along the way that will carry one through adulthood in whatever specific occupation they hold.
Who are you to decide what is useless?
Would you turn all colleges and universities into mere trade schools?
