The Government needs to MAKE up its mind ! First some states talk about Forcing parents to send kids to school regardless of the risk .
Now NY arresting a student . Students were Told they would only be attending classes on some days and some on other days . Like so say half the students attend mon wed fri the other half tus . thur day .
This young man wanted to be in school all open days and was arrested and charged because he went on a off day .

This is beyond stupid either Open schools Or NOT But forcing kids to GO or stay HOME is infringing on so many rights .
Sure riots are fine protesting be our guest ( But going to school we WILL arrest you .)
Tell me WHY a Cop would ENFORCE this anyway ? another great cop another dangress crimel off the streets .

Cops to stupid to Know when arresting someone is Just stupid ?:

3rd degree criminal trespassing & 5 days suspension from school. 17-year old.

Absolutely ridiculous!

And they are threatening to shut down the school, if he comes back?
This whole thing has gotten out of control.

Suspended from school for the crime of; attending school.
This only makes sense in post-covid land.

Of course, you are not being told the whole story. The kid was suspended due to his behavior. He returned to school the following day in violation of the suspension and was not permitted to be on school property. They asked him to leave and during a meeting with the principle, the student walked out. He was one that second day trespassed. He returned on a third day and was arrested. He was given 2 chances to comply, and just like a spoiled brat who can't get his way, pushed it until he was disciplined by real adults. He did get a participation trophy called handcuffs.

OF COARSE IM TELLING the WHOLE story ! The KID was Suspended BECAUSE he came TO school Then arrested when he tried coming again !
I know someone would come defending stupidy !

Now either CLOSE the schools or open them .
Me i would not be sending my grandkids if it was MY CHOICE ! my view is keep them shut down this year Then SKIP SUMMER next year have them go all year to get cought up .

Even opening them KNOWING how many more people would spread the virus ( kids dont get it as bad ? True Teachers CAN and DOI ! talk about stupid !

Yeah...and the original suspension was again clearly warranted what with that whole terrible thing called 'wanting to attend classes and learn'.

Because the 'virus' is our government and the symptoms are 'use of force' and 'fear porn' and other forms of propaganda for control of the masses.

How much more proof do the coincidence theory folks need?

There are rules in Ground right now that are unlike any time in our lives. You can't just show up somewhere especially when you are told many times. I agree what's going on is crazy but right now it's dangerous to bring people together.
High school kids and college kids don't care about their future they are too young to realize what they're doing.
He deserves it. Good for him for standing his ground though.

You can't just do whatever you want. They are putting rules in place, hoping that in a month they can have a better plan. Can't have a better plan when kids are doing whatever that want.

He was engaging in a peaceful protest. There shouldn’t be any consequences for a peaceful protest. The media says so.

It amazes me there are people who condone this kind of response from Government The same one that cant even get it together enough to make a cloth mask .

If it is sO danger's for kids to be in school they say they will shut school down because a kid wants to go to a OPEN school then they should not be open anyway .

And again A deputy would Not be as stupid as a city cop to even make a arrest like this .

Its shows the stupidly of the government and thous that work FOR THEM COPS . You dont really believe cops are there to protect any one do you ?
if You haven't realized BY now the cops Only take orders from mayors who tell them Let them riot you will never learn .

Knowing what state local schools are in I doubt the young man was getting a real education to begin with.

Either follow the rules or don't. Schools have rules. Businesses have rules. Most schools have divided the student population into at least two groups, half go on Mon and Wed, the other half go Tues and Thurs and Friday is remote learn for all. That is just an example. If you are in group A, don't go to school when it is group B day. Don't like the rules? Then home school your kid.

I wish we had this kung-flu when I was in high school. I wouldn't go on any days. I'd be sitting at home messing around on yahoo chat, and playing warcaft 2 battle.net edition.
