I’m watching this video that is displaying various clips of fighter aircraft. At 1:43, just above an F-18, an interesting object comes into view.
Can anyone identify what is is?

My guess is a passenger plane positioned so you cannot see the wing.
It's probably a cigar UFO however.

It appears stationary relative to the ground...
Probably a blimp.
That, or a previously unseen craft using unknown propulsion technology to stay hovering stationary a few hundred feet above a busy urban area in broad daylight...
Imma go with blimp.

Would a blimp tilt upwards like that.
It appears to be moving down although it's easy to be mislead by the angles etc.

My guess is the airport is to the left of the camera.

Those fighters are out of Elgin AFB.

From the description in the YT video. Maybe China's J-20 stealth fighter? From ADAMandEVIL comment "It appears stationary relative to the ground..." It might be traveling at the same velocity as the plane taking the video but in the opposite direction. The relative would make sense. It would be as if it wasn't moving at all.

Clearly it is a 'Completely Guileless Illustration' or CGI.

These CGI's are evident all over YouTube and clearly represent a threat to those challenged.

Watch the skies monitor!

Nice!!!

I know nothing about blimps, never seen a skinny one like that before. I'm still leaning towards a landing plane but I'm nowhere near as confident now.

The video is mixed with real world shots and CGI Flight Simulator video ...

Gotta be honest didn't realise at first.
However i still think it's a real world shot of a landing plane, or a skinny blimp.

Why would they add it otherwise?

It's a pair of F-15s, not an F-18. They're doing a flyover of some event, so it's almost certainly a blimp that's televising said event.

You may be right , though it definitely looked like CGI in the next scene , but there is another clip of it that continues at 8:40

Its CGI, you can see the when the object appears the first time from behind the vertical stabilizer of the middle plane they superimposed the entire object. Leaving the right part of the craft just visible over the vertical stabilizer.

Ah thanks for enlarging this. I also thought blimp at first but looking at the image, it seems another jetfighter with shoulder-wings [I am sure there is a more professional word for it], which can be seen clearly.

Looks like it could just be another f-18 in formation. Looks like some heavy cloud cover is engulfing most of it. Could definitely be a blimp too

I would have subscribed to the stationary thin video blimp drone at an event seeing how it appears to be over a horse track below....but on and iPad mini zoomed in viewpoint ... if it’s a blimp....it’s and odd shaped blimp.

Nope....can’t identify it. Of course this is a side profile without any other angled dimensional views.

Time stamp 8:41
