In cases where a definite diagnosis of COVID–19 cannot be made, but it is suspected or likely, it is acceptable to report COVID–19 on a death certificate as “probable” or “presumed.”
In these instances, certifiers should use their best clinical judgement in determining if a COVID–19 infection was likely. However, please note that testing for COVID–19 should be conducted whenever possible.

Pneumonia numbers are actually higher than Covid and that's confirmed or presumed on Covid cases compared to confirmed for pneumonia.
I think there was a thread on that yesterday.
See the "key points" section of: www.cdc.gov...
Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia, influenza, or COVID-19 (PIC) for week 34 was 7.9%, lower than the percentage during week 33 (12.3%), but above the epidemic threshold.
Pneumonia numbers are actually higher than Covid and that's confirmed or presumed on Covid cases compared to confirmed for pneumonia.
Which tests are you referring to? Antigen tests can be problematic with false positives but make up a low percentage of all tests. For this reason, most places provide separate statistics for antigen and PCR testing.
The emphasis is weighed heavily on a seemingly unreliable COVID test and if that test returns positive all other causes are out the window.

The questions no reporter will even ask or address is, Has any virus ever been counted this way..
Influenza.
HIV.
So every one that dies with HIV is counted as an HIV death ?

Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) is a serious infection that causes inflammation and fluid buildup in your lungs. It's brought on by a fungus called Pneumocystis jirovecii that spreads through the air.
This fungus is very common. Most people’s immune systems have fought it off by the time they're 3 or 4 years old. But it can make people who have weakened immune systems, like from HIV, very sick.
why would the federal gov offer so much money for each Covid-related hospitalization and/or death?

Robert Berenson, an institute fellow at the Urban Institute, said the notion that hospitals are profiting off the pandemic — as some of the social media posts may imply — isn’t borne out by facts, either.
Berenson said revenues appear to be down for hospitals this quarter because many have suspended elective procedures, which are key to their revenue, forcing some hospitals to cut staff. He surmised that potential instances of patients being wrongly “upcoded” — or classified as COVID-19 when they’re not — are “trivial compared to these other forces that are affecting hospital finances.”
The wuflu is most definitely NOT a ‘pandemic’

A pandemic (from Greek πᾶν, pan, "all" and δῆμος, demos, "people") is an epidemic of an infectious disease that has spread across a large region, for instance multiple continents or worldwide, affecting a substantial number of people.
