I really don't think there's any way around a major confrontation anymore. If you keep sticking your metal fork in wall outlets you think are disconnected, you're eventually going to bet wrong, horrendously, and get a massive zap for the idiocy. In other words, they're going to keep poking the proverbial bear until it bites back. MAYBE they'll learn then?

Peaceful protesters attacked a car, started to attack the semi and blocked the road. Semi turned around and left for now.

They tried to start crap here too a few times, but I think it didn't fly because of two reasons:

2. Our police aren't under local control, so even though our mayor and council would be all on board, they can't order the police.

Yeah, but weekend SJWs are much worse shots than seasoned, well-experienced hunters. That notion might spook 'em -- I personally think it does. Outside of the immediate Detoilet area and similar, I'm pretty convinced they understand it's not advantageous for rioters to tango with that level of ability. They're pwned here, as it were.

Edit: I'm speaking to the regional differences in attitudes (and thus, likely risk assessment), not the groups as a whole, just for clarity.

They've been getting bolder, marching through residential, but they haven't actually gone after homes yet. You just have to wonder how many silent armed folks are sitting in the dark ready but hoping they don't have to be.
