What the heck , idiots !! It was working fine.
Did a mandetory update, that took ages.

The system tells me now i have no vdeocard ( GTX 1050 Nvidea)
I have no sound anymore.

And most amazing : it denies acces to the device manager for my own security ???

reboot safe mode, and uninstall latest update. Then don't update until they fix the current joke.

Last I saw there was a revert option for updates but its all or nothing. So you either update or wait for it to get sorted and update later.

Tnx, i got it reversed. And it works again as normal.

I had to use the "Parts" update uninstaller.

Tip for other users: If your keyboard does not work , try another USB port. I had to try 3 before it worked.

in control panel, in programs there is windows installed options. Go there, and categorized by date. You will see the most recent update, and remove it. You can always re-install later, but that helps determine where the issue lies. It's an update a lot of the time.

When this happens :
Download DDU (display driver uninstaller)
Download Nvidia driver
Reboot to safe mode (no networking)
Unplug network cable (or disable network adapter in Device Manager)
Run DDU
PC will restart
Leave network cable unplugged or network adapter disabled
Run the Nvidia driver installation
Reboot
Enable network adapter or plug back in cable

It's nice to see someone other than DontTreadOnMe having computer problems for once.

To me the stupidist thing Microsoft did was remove "safe mode" option from the boot menu. Now you have to log in to windows to enable safe mode....which doesn't do you any good if windows won't start. It's like opening a box with the key that's locked inside it.

The solution is quite simple - just destroy everything you got with windows/microsoft products, and get Linux on future products

Microsoft sucks! Microsoft is NOT your friend, and is not designed to please the user - only to fill the pockets of Bill Gates(to hell),he is evil incarnated....
