Vicariously - Right in Two

Good Morning ATS!

I've been watching this election stupidity that for some reason, hadn't seemed to stop since the actual election.... I've been trying to tumble this thought over in my head, based on the clips I've been reading and wondering just how I'm going to put this out. Chances are... Like my thoughts and posts... garbled and cluttered at best!

Getting old is a B#ch!


ATS has a lot of support for Trump, which I find pretty cool since I assumed walking in this place that most conspiracy nuts tend to be liberals. At least, I thought so. It was just the mindset I kind of took for granted, I suppose. And I say conspiracy nut in the nicest, most loving way. Kinda like saying derogatory things that would only upset people outside of the group... follow?

So we all know that American government HATED... Absolutely HATED in the worst way, anyone from outside of their little group from ever getting a hand in their bowl of power. It's not a matter of Dem or Rep... It was the world vs Trump. This told me volumes.

"It's a big club... and you aint in it".

Man... How those words fill my thoughts with bitterness.

It's an obvious statement but when you hear it... it still leaves a smear of murky brown that you just can't seem to wipe away. I feel this way because these minions of stupidity are right up and front telling each and every american... What you were told in school as a child is false. NOT EVERYONE can be PotUS. ONLY club members. Everyone outside of that sphere... Not so much.

How do we continue to let this happen? Isn't that a mad slap in the face? Sure, your votes really, really matter but only for the people that we choose for you to vote on... THAT is EXACTLY what we are here in the US.

Feeling proud now? I stopped feeling "Proud" of my country when I realized politics is one huge farce. I mean.. It was always the elephant in the room but when Trump stepped in, that Elephant instantly had a name. As soon as it was realized that Trump had won, a frantic plan was drawn up and continues to this very day to get rid of Trump and make sure nothing like this happens again.

Make the people understand that NO ONE is capable or has the capacity to be a leader except for 'the Club'. They will be on top of this even at the last day of his term.... and days, weeks, months, possibly years after. The people need to know! The people need to understand! Trump will be the example!


People... You are duped. You only think you know how politics work. You only think you're voting counts because you have an option. You pretend everything will be ok and it's all fine... Trump is going to win again.

I mean hey, I like the guy. I think he was given a turd of a chance to prove himself and I could see just like anyone else, THEY would never and have not let that happen without so much noise that everything you like about the guy was drowned out in fear, smells and $#!^. Remember... We have such a short term memory that as long as they keep it going, we'll keep eating it. We may not remember specifics but people will remember adjectives pined on the man and THAT will stick forever.


Why are you not furious? Knowing that no matter what you want, do or say... YOU dont matter... Just like Trump didn't matter.

This hella soap opera likened "victory" for the people.... is futile. It is, was and always will be an illusion. Funny thing is... I might be more upset if I didn't let all this BS get old to the point that I've very few cares left. Hey... I know when the war is lost. I know when I'm out of ammo. I know how it goes. I think this will be the last year that I give 2 $#!^s about politics because it simply doesn't matter where I stand or how I feel about it.

It stems simply from what I'm seeing. I'm seeing crazy people doing some really stupid stuff everywhere and our leaders are just letting it happen because they don't want to be on the wrong side of the election or racism. People that should be committed, not allowed to have children, much less thoughts, carry weapons (Ever wonder why Libs don't want you to have weapons? Because they're not capable of firing one themselves).

On one side... You have republicans that will say little. They dont want to push Trump out where you can see... They'll keep it under their breath because they still want you to vote republican. They hate the guy too. he's NOT one of them.

On the other, you have venomous vitriol climbing over each other to take the next stab at Nero.

With the people... You have those that will kill, burn and pillage to make their mindless, simpleton point.

The other half watch, boast and laugh about it all because they think it's a joke. It is a joke. Problem is... It's a joke and it's not funny. I think people are taking Trump's win over this election for granted. People believe he will win again but those people probably also believe we live in a world with some kind of hope and one day mankind will be just fine. This is normal. It'll always be this way.

It wont if you don't have a snowballs chance in hell to have someone elected that will represent you as a people like YOU should be represented. If there ever was one... Trust me. Candidates will be so filtered after this, it wont even be funny. Ron Paul was a joke to these people. Trump is a joke to these people and you can bet, Trump WILL NOT win this next election. Government will make damn sure of that on both sides.


Tabula Rasa people...!!! That is the only way it will work.


Obviously this thread is likely 99% opinion for me but still... It's a very big issue in my day to day. It's affecting all of us and I'm just about done with this fence. Hell... Even AOC makes more sense than what I'm seeing happening right now everywhere in this country.... We're PUTTING CRIMINALS in the Whitehouse. Actually, Biden, a criminal himself, is and we're going to let him, simple as that. Even notable republicans are openly voicing their support for Biden and this is totally OK....?!

Take a deep breath or two and then realize...

There are people in the Republican party who don't want an outsider in the Presidency, even if he was elected under their own party.

They don't want anyone seeing behind the curtain, on both sides of the aisle.

There was no collusion with Russia. Collusion isn't a legitimate crime. No votes were cast or changed. Same old debunked talking points from the last 4 years.

Trump is the closest thing to an outsider we'll ever have as President.

Here's hoping for 4 more years.

I, too, had a similar experience with the elephant in the room lately. I view both sides of the aisle with equal disgust because they’re simply mirror images of each other and their behavior has caused a drive to the far sides of each party with a whole bunch of help of the media.

You often see people going after each other as if we’re the individuals to blame for the current state of our country, when it’s been politicians being politicians the entire time. I can’t fault civilians for casting their votes to the party they believe will run the country best, that’s more than fair enough and while one would think we should be thankful for the option to decide, it’s all horse#.

I know two Tool song references when I see it. You really should have added Schism for this subject matter.

no #, 1st thing that crossed my mind upon reading the title

Trump barged in on their Party party. Two parties filled by people with that psychopathic drive for power and adulation. For outside validation of their own superiority.

For 170 years these types have flocked to the Two Party Party donning the guises that needed to be worn in order to survive in the masquerade of difference. There was and is no difference in this Masquerade Party.

In 2016 the Two Party Party put up a bunch of people for us to choose from. Two from one and 12 from the other. In the one party, one of the club pushed out the other. In the other party there arose a wild card, Trump. walked into that party and quickly put a grenade in the center of the stage and pulled the pin. Hurray. Then he blew up the offering of the other party.

The problem is though that Trump is not an outside force. He IS straight from the Two Party Party. He donated to this one and then that one. He hobnobbed with the luminaries in one and the with the stars of the other.

So yes, Trump was an outsider because he had never settled for either of the two masquerading sides until he found a constituency that believed in him. And there is the crux.

The real party extends way beyond the political parties. The Big Party is the party of psychopaths that believe that it is their right to grab as much power and wealth as they can without being seen as the enemy of the people. They put on their masquerade costumes to lead us to believe that they are doing this for us, the people, when in reality it is just to fulfill their own needs for power.

Trump is no different. Sure, he saw the ''club'' as you describe it. But rather than wanting to destroy the club, or drain the swamp, what he really wanted, no, needed'' was to be accepted into that club. Be accepted or destroy it and remake it as his own. He got half way with that ploy. He made the Republican Party into his own. Only the Democrat Party stood in his way.

And what have they done? Given us Joe Biden, Biden to face off against the most rogue of potus's [snipped]

Great going Dems.

Here's the skittle on that....

I like to think that I'm a 'Christian' in general terms. I'm probably no more religious than most people here but I do have a firm belief. As firm as I could hope to be in a time like this.

Though, I'm more on the side of belief that you have to make your own way. God will help but the world doesn't come to you. You have to do your part. If this were not true, free will would not be possible. So... God will let us get so close to the point of destroying ourselves and only step in when it's too late for ourselves to have any hope of overcomming.

For me... God comes at the END. He doesn't step in to fix it. He steps in for a complete re-do. That means that there is no suddenly one day waking up to world peace. It's waking up to the day of world destruction and when all of mankind is holding on to a very steep ledge hanging over oblivious with one pinky left slipping and breaks loose... THAT's when God steps in... Right during the long fall down, that moment before splatter when all hope is lost.

God isn't going to step in and fix something we're doing freely and willingly to ourselves...

I see a lot of spirituality but a lot of that is false. Like ringing a bell upon tossing a coin to the poor...


I understand why you wouldn't fault anyone for voting on what they believe. To me... That's like letting a child killer go because you believe he's not guilty. He may not know it's wrong but it is.

Still, it's a poor analogy, I know but we have the information, we have the hard facts and the truths that we can pull together for ourselves. I think too many people blindly follow and for that I think I can blame them.

Even if the person doesn't see problems with their own faction, surely they can see what we all see each and every day. The only way I couldn't blame them is if they literally can't think for themselves. Maybe a serious lack of education.

Though... Keep in mind that all of these big power players have college. They have degrees. These are not your run of the mill every day people. These are big players, power players. These are the people who make OUR rules.
