The Friday Night Protests 8-14-2020

Hello, and welcome to the Friday night protests.

Right now the action is starting up in Detroit. We have a masked man in Austin with an "assault rifle". In Omaha there are anti-protest, protesters. A Seattle feed just popped up and Milwaukee is trying to get something going too.

What will happen tonight? Will we have fires, bombs, hit and runs, shooting or just fighting and nudity.

BTW, I may have figured out why the protests go on week after week. Raves have been banned. So, they are rolling down the streets.

After one of the quietest nights in months at Portland’s regular protesting locations Thursday, demonstrators planned to converge in Northeast Portland Friday. They pledged “direct action” against police violence.

This is one reason, that I moved to the "boonies".

I have lived in big cities... where you ignore sirens, and pay attention to gunshots.

Now... out here... we ignore gunshots, and pay attention to sirens.

It isn't just raves, think about what was a tradition during the summer. State fairs, carnivals and now we have a situation being forced on the population that everyone has to wear a mask and now violent riots are being permitted???

Wearing a mask isn't about saving yourself from a virus.

Let me add this... this is important.

If you flee a liberal city because your life sucks, do not show up in conservative states expecting us to become liberals. If you helped destroy California, don't expect your policies to be welcomed in Idaho.

Liberals HATE individualists. Idahoans ARE individualists.

Go to coastal Washington or Oregon... they LOVE you guys there...

Could you PLEASE add 8.14.2020 to your Title, while you can? There are so many of these "Tuesday Riots", "Friday Protests", etc.. threads, I can't find one when I need to look back into recent (or distant) protests, for research purposes. Thank-you.

Thank-you a million, LookingAtMars! One of the greatest things about ATS is the HUGE archive of information, dating back over 15 years. Having a fully descriptive and unique title helps find those oldie-goodies.

It will be an incalculable loss when AboveTopSecret is turned off for good. All we'll have left is the crap Google lets us see, or the "politically correct history" at the Libraries.

I was listening to a young girl speak on the feed earlier. They want to change the whole system. It's not working for them. They are tired of the old ways. She said they weren't going to stop protesting until things have changed.
