I’m curious as to what phrase you are referring to. . .

I do agree that the US must remain a champion of individual liberty at all costs. Unfortunately, what some people here refer to as the “Cabal” (and the subject of Millie’s Shadowgate) i.e. the deep state, big tech, big media, china, political elites, et al, are operating outside the law and undermining faith in government. There are a dozen articles a day written by fake news declaring Trump a threat to democracy and other such nonsense when in reality there is no democracy, yet everyone jumps right on the bandwagon. I certainly was triggered by your comment.

Also, going back to the electoral college, voter disenfranchisement goes both ways. ALL of a state’s electoral college votes go to the person who gets the most votes. So, if you reside in a state where more people voted for the other guy, your vote does nothing. Think voting republican in California, New York, or Illinois for example. On the other hand, it is possible for a president to win and not win the popular vote. This is a function of every state getting at least one electoral college vote regardless of population and prevents one or two states from becoming so populous as to control the entire country. This scenario is what the cabal propagandizes to incite the masses for gain.

How the electoral college translates into today’s America is basically Urban vs Rural. All the cities try to import as many immigrants and people as possible to bolster population when they allocate electoral college votes. It doesn’t matter if they are citizens or not. It’s based on population.

It does appear that Millie’s arrest and prosecution is politically motivated. However, I would argue that all prosecutions are politically motivated as State’s attorneys, Sheriffs, and Judges are all elected positions. That’s right, they are politicians.

Yes, you and I are brothers. I may be red headed and have a different daddy but we claim each other nonetheless.

Cheers.

Just listening to Tore Says radio stream for Saturday.

Millie's brother was also arrested along with Millie's husband Gavin. They are all facing the same charges. The charge of burglary has been changed to robbery. The obstruction of justice charge seams to be based on the fact that Millie broke her mothers phone after her mother was recording what Millie was working on. Millie's mother dropped all these charges soon after the event.

The prosecutor in this case is tied to Lez Wexner and other nasties.

More eyes on the subject. I think that's a good thing whether known or not, this explains it to others in a way that's easily digestible.

It was mainly your choice of wording, "Good Grief" for example has gone out of regular use but is still used by more well heeled individuals in the UK instead or resorting to profanity's and we for the most part in Blighty tend not to associate it with phrasing and language commonly used in US media (which our kid's tend to ape somewhat).

Despite my caustic response it is nice to see someone over the pond using better English than most Brit's do (including myself).

I suppose all political systems have there flaws, it is always going to be inherent that those that establish such a system will often try to create forms to give themselves or there (vested) interests greater representation.

In the UK there is currently only one political party that is trying to bring proportional representation into affect and that is the Liberal Democrat party, a not too popular party that is always in third place while Labour and the Conservative party's both usually work to defend there power base and that being there share of the vote, they are neither really that interested in installing proportional representation as it would in affect force a redrawing of the political landscape that would both harm and aid both of them in unpredictable way's - and likely give the Liberal Democrats a bigger share of the vote since it would then not work on who control's seats but how many individual vote.

So your point about democracy is actually completely correct, neither of our systems is a true democracy though to be fair they are probably the closest we can get and also you are correct about mob rule a true democracy (without the electorate being both intelligent enough and informed enough to realize the affect of there choice not only on the now but the long term) is at current public intelligence levels a recipe for chaos since we the general public are often fickle and easily swayed by party propaganda and promises that are never kept.

Looking at it from an outsiders perspective though Trump seems to be a far better president than he has been given credit for being and also had the Covid-19 disaster not occurred likely the US would now be heading for a record return to profit as a nation along with the job's this would create as US industry turned around, it is also a good bet that the aftermath of his years will benefit the US since he has successfully withdrawn a lot of future runaway corporate investment in the likes of China while causing those same corporations to have to put that investment back into the US and rest of the western world though likely they are looking for other sources of cheap labour and at least moderately stable governments in corporate friendly poor nations as an alternative starting the whole fiasco off all over again so how long those newly returned investments in the US and the rest of the first world shall remain there is open to speculation but with proper control's in place the corporations can be brought back under control, at the moment they are acting pretty much like the giant's of the old testament, consuming people's labour and then consuming the peoples lives as well but the problem is how do you gain control, well Trump while appearing to be there friend has done a pretty good job of that in his correct response to both threat modern China which is built on the back of these unethical corporate giant's has posed, China currently poses the greatest threat to world peace in my opinion with it's over confident expansionist policy's and vast militarization so Trump in my opinion was the right man at the right time in the right place no matter how many lunatic left neo communists hate him simply because he replaced a black president.

Oh I will warrant that in your nation perhaps he is not perfect, no man ever can be, but I do believe that his heart is fully in the well being and interests of the US and it's people's, he also a lot less corrupt than his opposition and being already rich was unbuyable though apparently his wealth has more than halved during his time in office so being president of the US has cost him dearly, perhaps a sacrifice he was willing to make but it must be painful nevertheless.

Here is the official indictment.
www.scribd.com...

Yep what started as a minor domestic dispute has been blown up to felony charges. This is what weaponization of the legal system looks like. This is typical overcharge in the attempt to get a guilty plea to lesser charges. Mom can probably get the robbery dropped but as for the tampering, and obstruction the state is pursuing those. This happens every day in the U.S.

It is not the Police that BLM is really mad at. It is the entire legal system. The police are just the goons that enforce crap like this. Revenue harvesting through overcharging. Silencing political dissent by hemming people up on frivolous charges and suppression of poor communities by making them criminals. But instead of protesting the District Attorneys and Judges they focus their rage on the goons that are sent to enforce those orders. This is how something like half of a marijuana cigarette in an ash tray becomes a felony and multiple charges. Just asking why you are being arrested for half the joint becomes "resisting" and if you are resisting you are also obstructing. Because you did it during the commission of the original charge (a minor misdemeanor) you are now facing felony charges as well. If the cop had only just charged the possession the DA would chew that ass and have that cop written up for wasting the courts time. The entire culture of law enforcement is rife with this. The average person doesn't have the $50,000-$100,000 to slug it out in court so the plea to lesser charges. It's a win for the state a win for defense attorneys and the money machine keeps rolling along. They have set it up to harvest us in the name of law and order. In Millie's case they can use it to punish her for political reasons. It's also a warning to others.. look the other way or this will happen to you as well. This has been going on for about 50 years or so here and really got rolling in the 90's under Clinton. It has zero to do with public safety and everything to do with money and control.

Caveat: I don't back the blue and I don't kneel for BLM. I agree that this system has stagnated their communities but this system hurts everyone not just black Americans.

Okay it looks like she's going to fight it. They plead not guilty at arraignment and we're issued a $20,000 bond. They will be released on personal recognizance (no money needed just a promise to appear.

www.cleveland.com... h-mother-in-portage-county.html

I find it telling that they have to put the little blurb about Infowars and Alex Jones at the end if the article to manipulate readers into thinking she's a kook. The fact the media has to go out of it's way to do that is pathetic.

On another note...I find it amusing that this story was the one that broke my 9 years of relative silence on ATS. I'm not even a Millie fan.

Her GoFundMe has $140,000 at the moment so if she didn't commit any of the felonies listed she seems to have more than enough resources to go to court and challenge them.

It's nice she has fans and we'll wishers to support her in this. The average person does not. The attorneys and the court still get paid even if she is found not guilty.

And? She has the money, if she didn't commit the felonies she should do something about it.

Oh I completely agree. If you have the means to defend yourself you absolutely should. My beef is that the legal system has morphed into this money harvesting racket that only works for those who can afford it. The thing is if she broke phone they got her for tampering and obstruction even if the robbery and domestic get dropped. It's a lose-lose situation. Lose freedom or lose money. In most cases both. The DA gets paid, the defense attorney gets paid, and the court gets paid no matter how it ends up for her. The DA knows there is $140k just waiting and no doubt well versed in the legal manuvering to drain that little nest egg efficiently. Essentially all those donors aren't really donating to Millie. They are donating to Portage County and her defense team. They would like nothing more to see that sum grow so that they can both work together to ensure that pie gets sliced up to their benefit.

Which is why only stupid people don't support criminal justice reform. There are two levels of justice, those who have money and those who do not.

Which is why any one in this thread crying about what's happened to her yet not supporting criminal justice reform is a phony.

Agreed. It's out of control. DAs no longer care about justice just bumping their numbers and revenues to your when they go to run for another office Kamala Harris is the poster girl for this. The grand jury system is supposed to limit this kind of thing but like everything else involved they are just a rubber stamp.

On another note I'm still waiting for the original police reports. I can't wait to see what's in those. They are still sealed as of now.

It was her mom?! Millie Weaver arrest 20k bond for release by judge - family Shadownet indictment

This video covers most of what was already posted, also includes the sealed indictment which was claimed to be filed about a month ago.

If this document is legitimate, then why the one charge of burglary for Gavin followed by an 'I don't know' for Millie when the arrest took place? Sounds like some back dating ass covering going on.

Anyway, hopefully Millie, Gavin and Charles are out soon while the lawyers sort this mess out later.

It's like a spit in the face with all the robbery cases and riots going on every day.
It may seem too little, too late but these parasites will have no advocate on judgement day.

A spit in the face meaning they didn't stand on her neck or shoot her or taze her to death like they do to so many people everyday for decades?

Yeah, she wasn't a whacked out drug addict and criminal resisting arrest.
