will do. just keeps ending up as a "What the eff is @#$% is wrong with our species?" rant a lot of the time.

Boggles my mind that we cannot get along with each other. Maybe fighting, violence, selfishness, hating anything remotely different to ourselves and other negative traits are just hard wired into the genetics of all life?

*sigh* I need an editor. Got a friend who wants me to start a cult or run for king of the world due to my 'we're all humans who take a dump every day' ways of thinking. I'll maybe give the drafts to him and see if he can wittle it into something more digestible?

Just saddens me that in all honesty, you take away the tech, and most of mankind are still the same as humans were in biblical times. It's like our technology has evolved but as a species we're stagnating.

Maybe we've reached our peak?

I mean do we elect smart people? Do we elect young people with fresh brains and fresh ideas? Nope we elect rich old farts (or hypocritical religious folks) severely out of touch with the common people who pay their wages.
We just seem hell bent on doing everything in our power to keep the stupid going. To keep things just the way they are...

I feel like an Alien on my own homeworld... just do not understand why more people cannot see it, and why more people don't want to end it.

You're GD thread made me have a bad dream. Just annoying surreal dream.
It was like THX1138 on steroids.
Everyone was in hazmat suits, 'pretty' white ones and mostly in buildings or underground.
Every surface possible was painted an obnoxious orangey or crimson red and there were TVs on walls for propaganda everywhere.
I was the only one not wearing a suit because I was just so fed up.
Nothing happened to me but I was pissed. Walking through like I was living in a hospital.
People on gurneys were being wheeled through on occasion.
I took the stairs instead of the lift and got nasty looks from everyone because I had no suit on.
Sigh.
Edit to say it was in the future. Maybe 2 to 4 years

It is your governor who is bringing you nightmares.

USA govt has been reeeeeeal good at treating us grown adults like we are all 3 years old.

Telling us what we can and can't do, even if it's so ridiculous (like using safe plants etc for health, etc).

I think a grown adult can decide for themselves what they want to do for themselves (aside from the obvious bad things that needs banning of course)
