Portland Riots Continue.. Even Though Federal Law Officers Have Withdrawn as Demanded.

Two days ago, the media reported Portland as being peaceful, now that Federal Law Enforcement Officers have stopped protecting Federal buildings, and left the city. The Trump Department of Justice gave Portland officials, and Protest Groups, exactly what they demanded. And according to the media, all was well.

But today, I see an alarming headline, describing how Portland officials are besides themselves with Anger and Frustration, because of ONGOING RIOTS. This is from today, August 6th:

Portland Police Chief Slams ‘Incomprehensible’ Violence, Says Rioters Target Local Officers with Mortars and Commercial-Grade Fireworks

“Last night’s violence by rioters at our east precinct was incomprehensible!,” Lovell said at a virtual press conference on Thursday.

“We have people who are intentionally planning to go out and attack precincts, trap people inside, [and] set fires to these buildings.”

Lovell continued, “We have nightly violence where officers get mortars thrown at them, rocks, commercial grade fireworks, and these senseless attempts to injure officers and destroy police facilities [are] reprehensible and [they] need to stop!”

Lovell said that the riots were intended to injure officers and are not connected to the George Floyd protests.

Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said 2 weeks ago that Portland violence was a "Myth". Then last week, he slammed President Trump and Attorney General Barr for causing Portland violence.

I wonder how bad it must get before Portland city officials, or the Governor of Oregon, begs for Federal Officers to return, and do what is necessary to get rid of the ANTIFA and BLM terrorists responsible for all the anarchy, damage, and human casualties?

i feel bad for the small businesses. they have to have almost all gone away by now. That town will be a ghetto all over. What a waste. Vote Democrat and vote often I suppose.

Provide safe passage for all who want a less riot-ish life and build a wall around the riot-y areas/the whole city. Make it a penal colony. Escape from Portland...

or just shoot looters on sight and arrest ALL VIOLENT RIOTERS and assure them a term of 10 yrs hard labor.. like work... theyll stop as soon as they hear the word "work".

Portland police cannot "mean business" without support from the mayor and/or Governor.

The Mayor is locked in a tight re-election race, against an ANTIFA candidate. Polls had them virtually tied in July.

Why would they need to "mean business " these are just people expressing their displeasures with the police in a perfectly peaceful and respectful, first amendment kina way. The peace and love just gets so strong that it literally makes objects burst into flames and project themselves into police and their precincts.

Honestly, all the good law abiding people whom want just to live and provide for their families need to up and leave. Then have the NG build walls around those idiots and let them kill themselves out.

Nadler said that antifa was a myth, he wasn't one way or the other about the riots. In fact members of the DNC have refused to acknowledge the existence of antifa at all. Hell the Senator from Hawaii even left a committee meeting instead of denouncing antifa.

Anyways is anyone here really surprised that when the Federal Law Enforcement Officers pulled back, the riots wouldn't stop. Seems like common sense that this was going to happen, and only a fantasies of the media that it was going to go back to the Summer of Love when the Feds left. I bet members of Socialist Alternative were planning these new attacks as soon as the Feds pulled back. Friggen Trotskyists.

Ya gotta admit, a couple of nights ago when some dude drove through the protest line near that 7/11 and fired off a few shots after his truck stalled out and the mob was advancing on him, it was hilarious. The "All Cops are Bastards" crowd turned instantly into little frightened bitches, running to the cops as they arrived, crying for protection and law enforcement to help them.

IMO douse the whole lot with gasoline and throw a match at their feet. They're worthless wastes of resources at this point. Either declare Portland a lost zone and wall it entirely off or reclaim it by whatever means are needed, but choose one.
