Well, sometimes you have to move just a little faster than you wanted.
I posted this information earlier, but it seems to have been forgotten... so I'll repeat it since it is becoming more and more germane.
The purpose of Global Warming is and always has been about a takeover of the energy industry. The idea works like this: by forcing unachievable
demands on the production of energy, the ability to produce sufficient energy is prohibited. If there are x number of carbon credits available, that
is another way of saying the industry can only produce y amount of energy. That's not theory; we have no way to actually measure the exact amount of
carbon dioxide produced by combustion, so instead we go off theoretical production. If there are enough carbon atoms in the fuel to produce a ton of
carbon dioxide under perfect combustion, that fuel is assumed to produce a ton of carbon dioxide and therefore requires the carbon credits for one ton
of carbon dioxide.
Now we have successfully (and artificially) limited the amount of fuel that can be produced via chemical fuels. That leaves solar, wind, hydro, etc.
free to fill in the difference. No problem, right? But there is a problem: solar can't do the job on a national scale, and wind and hydro are either
at or rapidly approaching peak capacity.
We will struggle through for a while, of course... until that one bitter cold winter or (even better) blazing hot summer. It will happen; it always
does eventually. That's called "weather." It's been happening since dinosaurs roamed the back alleys trying to escape Barney. Then there will be
rolling outages, specified periods of time when there is no power available. And remember, while this is going on there will be people dying from the
cold or heat and they will be highlighted on every flat screen in the USA.
The public outcry will be deafening!
For those with generators, those use fossil fuels. There will be no fossil fuels! Gasoline will be running $20 a gallon and diesel will be higher. I
would expect rationing... strict rationing. Take your choice: air conditioning so you don't die, or gas for your car to get to work and make money so
you won't die.
But have no fear! The government will step in and nationalize energy because, obviously, the power companies have failed and are endangering public
safety. The mighty government is going to save us! Of course, the government prints carbon credits, which caused the outages in the first place, so
they'll just quietly print some more and suddenly the power outages are a thing of the past. Hooray!
With energy nationalized, scenes like this where government edicts lead to no power will be commonplace after only a few years. Watch those social
media accounts! Say the wrong thing on Twitter (like talking about how the government just printed up extra carbon credits) and your power will be
gone. National gun buy-back program? Better get in line, because if you don't sell back all your guns (for pennies on the dollar, of course, and
remember the government has a record of your purchases) your power will be cut. Protesting the mayor? Oops, face recognition will identify you and
you'll return home to a dark, cold house with no electricity. No one even needs to come to your home... that smart meter will respond to a simple
signal from the central office and shut it all down.
And all of it will be Constitutional... after all, no one is being arrested! There is no Constitutional right to electricity! Duh! So forget abut
suing the government over this. Not gonna happen. You will be able to get your power back, but there will of course be a substantial fine (read:
"reconnect fee") after an appropriate period of punishment (read: "we'll have someone there as soon as possible") and you will be watched like a hawk
to make sure you comply with all orders like a good little serf.
As it is right now, the government needs serious public support to do this, or there will be riots in the streets. But once energy is nationalized?
No, no, you better not go against the government's desires or you'll lose power... and 90% of the people cannot survive without power. Washing
clothes? Stream and scrub board. No stream? Too bad. Cooking? Better have a wood stove. Climate control? Open the windows (which lets in bugs if you
don't have screens) or we're back to firewood and a wood heater, depending on the season. Got a sump pump? Better hope it don't rain...
No computers either... no TV, no video games. Just sit there in the dark and think about how bad you've been.
That's the plan, and has always been the plan. They just needed to push it forward a bit because these damn serfs are not doing as they are told!
