Also if an election does not take place as Augustus has pointed out Trump would have to leave office on the 20th and the rights/ATS's favourite woman Nancy comes in, then Senate Pro Tempore which is senator of majority party with longest record of continuous service who is currently Republican Chuck Grassley

That would make the year 2020 complete.

Of course, a Presidential election nation wide with vote by mail would take months if not years to settle. In the meantime Pelosi creeps well into her 80's, a long term member of the 1%ers, a white over privileged woman, with a deep desire for power and control.

The Democratic Party's wet dream for sure, a well over 80 year old elite white entrenched politician taking total control of the nation, one who has already shown her propensity for relishing and USING power, and not always for the good.

as for the USA, i wish it and its people the very best. unfortunately, to avoid the catastrophe some Americans will have to pull their heads out of their asses instead of furthering the division, and so far they're going the opposite way, while those aware of the problem (on both sides) are simply growing tired and at some point they may lose patience.

it's not about Pelosi and left or right. if Trump wouldn't be part of the system, he would be long dead like Kennedy. it's about politicians doing whatever the hell they want with no respect whatsoever for those that elected them in the first place. sooner or later, that circus is going to blow up.

I mean, you use it over and over, and I have never seen who said it, when, and why. This leaves me with the feeling that it was a misattributed quote that was circulated as a Facebook graphic - part of the Russia trolling campaign.

I know that that is hard for a bunch of people that think the president should have this all encompassing power but, in reality, the speaker of the house has more power. Just as mitch has more power.
