Guess what people take away from it though when discussing it.

Much like the news or anything else, what gets attention is the absurd, and on this site, the absurd is the extreme partisanship that is welcomed. You can deny it all you want, but you can't deny it for long because the doors are shutting from ...gee, I don't know...total mystery.

This isn't a place anymore to find out the cool haps about aliens, bigfoot, reptilian overlords, AI taking over, etc...sure, those threads are here, but overall its just a endless stream of the worst political takes you can get on any forum out there.
as of right this moment, 9 out of the top 15 topics are mud pit..this isn't ATS anymore, its mudpit.com and unless you have some backers who want to have just that, the model is unsustainable.

Who knows...maybe things can turn around at the 11th hour. I know a lot of people love the mud pit, but its my firm belief that its an anchor while its tied to the rest of the site.

Anyone "quoting for twooth" should quote this, this is the best summary of what's really going down.

I mourn for what ATS used to be (hint - not a politically polarised sh!tt!ng contest)

So in essence many want to follow the group think usually politically based (or be part of some in crowd like we are still in high school) and not follow themselves.
This causes for continuous parroting of what verbiage that is generated projected from the social pyramid scheme top down to the receptive at the foundation.

In turn limiting opportunities for potential sensitive Conspiracy theory dialogue as many may feel discomfort sharing their experiences and ideas now due to fear of being attacked...

So now the over inundation provides many spectrums of group think discussions usually associated with similar social pyramid scheme projected data.


Also the Aliens/Angels have been here believe it or not. They are waiting for this EA*RTH schools Graduates to graduate-complete class.

Most people on ATS can agree on one thing, we all want freedom/truth. But our definition of it, and how to get there is all different - but we want the same. Why shouldnt everybody just be allowed to be here?

You're obsessed with Chainey and Rumsfeld, that's history, not current events. The past few years I've seen the US political landscape change in bizarre ways. Sometimes it seems that the Left are acting like the Right used to, sometimes they don't but get accused of it and I hear Lefties in America talking and I realise they are way more Left than I am. I think in US Politics I'd be considered Centrist but here I can be proud Leftie.
